Trips to Morocco are a family-owned and operated company offering clients the opportunity to experience our home - Morocco. We are Berbers who have lived in the south of Morocco for many generations. Berbers were originally nomads who are known throughout the region for their hospitality and their craft.
We have worked in the tourist industry in Morocco for over twenty years. Youssef , his son Mohammed founded Trips to Morocco 2009. Today, Youssef's sons, Mohammed and Mubarak, are the chief guides assisted by other members of the extended family. We all live together in our family home in Erfoud.
We speak fluent Berber, Arabic, French, English, Italian and Spanish. We know every corner of Morocco and want you to experience the geography, history and cuisine of our country '' in a Class Cooking''. We also operate a fleet of 4x4 Toyota Land Cruisers, Mini-Van.... Which allow us to go everywhere in comfort. We will customize your visit to your specific requirements. We introduce you to the imperial cities of Morocco or can take you on a photographic or culinary journey. We can camp in the Sahara Desert , or trek in the high Atlas, fish, surf in the Atlantic, explore the fossil beds in the Sahara desert.
Our family promises that the time that you spend with us in our home country will be unique and satisfying. Tell us your interests and pursuits, the amount of time that you have to spend in Morocco, and the type of trip you would like to make, from luxurious to roughing it, and we will create a tour to fit your tastes and your budget.

This trip far exceeded any/all expectations!! I will never forget my time in Morocco with this group. A wonderful balance of vibrant, bustling cities combined with the natural beauty Morocco has to offer. An exceptional value I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an exotic experience. Our group of 16 always had everything we needed, including delicious meals and very comfortable accomodations. Mohammed and the other guides were so knowledgable, informative, patient, attentive, and most of all FUN!! I can not wait to return to this amazing country and would not consider another venture here without Trips to Morocco.

The beauty and simple life in Morocco stole my heart. It is a place that enhances all your senses and will make you feel inspired, Trips to Morocco made this wonderful experience so much easier, they worked on a great itinerary for us, booked all the amazing riads while paying close attention to detail and requests. We went on a two-person private tour with Aziz and he was the nicest person all throughout our trip. Would definitely use them again if traveling to Morocco in the future.

Everything about this tour group was excellent.
From airport pick up to airport drop off it was door to door great
service. When I signed up for this vacation I had no idea that it would turn out to be a fabulous adventure with so many cities and sights and wonderful locals who gave us all an education in the rich history of Morocco. Informed, fun loving and incredibly attentive to any and all of our large group's needs, Trips to Morocco gave us all one of the best experiences of our lives.

Fantastic experience with Trips to Morocco for our Ladies Getaway 2022. Our custom 9 day trip was an experience of a lifetime. Our amazing team, Mohamed, Alli, Barak and Aziz met us at Casablanca where the adventure began.
Our tour brought us to Chefchaouen (Blue City), Volubilis, Fès, Mid Atlas Mountains, Sahara Desert, Fades and Todra Gorges, Kazbah Ben Haddou, High Atlas Mountains and Marrakech.
Our guides were outgoing, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They provided us with a tour that showcased some of the most interesting regions of this amazing country. It was authentic and unique and they did it all with enthusiasm and a sense of humor.

I cannot recommend Trips to Morocco enough. Mohammed Abou was so helpful and always available in planning our trip.
We had the best driver and guide, Hassan. He drove safely and not too fast and we covered a lot of miles. This was really important to me. He showed us so many different areas of Morocco and really looked after us. In fact he did everything to make sure we had an amazing trip
Thank you to this wonderful company for such an outstanding vacation. We would recommend Trips to Morocco to anybody looking to plan a trip to Morocco.

One of the best experiences I've had as a traveler. Undoubtedly an enriching trip, which showed us the culture with the help of our incredible guide and friend Mohamed Noumad, who gave us another perspective and knowledge.

We took a day trip to the Ouzoud waterfalls and it was thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. Mohammed and Aziz collected us from our hotel in Marrakech, took us to the waterfalls and were out guides around this beautiful and unique part of Morocco. We could not recommend Trips to Morocco enough for their professional, information offered and friendliness. Thank you so much for an amazing experience. We will 100% be recommending your company to friends and family.

Myself and two friends did a one week tour with this company in Morocco. We had an overall great experience. Our driver, Aziz, was friendly and clearly invested in us enjoying our visit and having a good experience. For example, I am really interested in fossils and they arranged two extra fossil-related stops on the tour for us. Because we did a multi-city trip, there was good amount of driving, but it was always enjoyable because Aziz made frequent stops at historic sites or incredible views and the geography of the country is varied and stunning.
All our local guides were extremely knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions. The company's luxury desert camp was incredible and staying there for two nights and getting to explore the sand dunes was absolutely the highlight of the trip. The food we had in Morocco on this tour (mostly provided by the tour itself, or recommended to us by the guides while in the cities) was all phenomenal and you will definitely not go hungry!!! I had expected that the portion sizes would be on the small side for what we Americans are used to back home, but they always provided WAY more food than we could ever possibly eat - and it was good food! My friends and I had just spent one week in Spain before coming to Morocco and agreed that our food experience in Morocco was better than in Spain.
Driving in Moroccan cities seemed really difficult, so if you are on the fence about whether or not to do a private tour or to go on your own, I would definitely suggest doing a tour and to do it with this company even just to have a driver who knows how to drive in the cities of Morocco.
Overall, we had a great trip and I would definitely recommend Trips to Morocco to others.

We loved everything about our trip and especially the Sahara Desert and the Atlas Mountains and Fes and Marrakech and Ouarzazate and the beaches (Essaouira and Taghazout), all the beautiful riads we stayed in, the wonderful food we ate, the Roman ruins we saw and the excellent guides most especially Mohammed Aabou and our driver Ali
We had a private tour with these two and just us for 12 days and we loved the flexibility of Mohammed and Trips to Morocco to accommodate our every request including changes to our plans. We highly recommend Trips to Morocco for a fabulous experience. Their local guides were informative and gave us a chance to meet many Moroccan people and experience more of the culture. We toured medinas and mellas as we learned the history of the Berbers and the Jews of the country.

We were so lucky with our driver Aziz. Amazing, knowledgeable young man. Gave us quite a lot of great recommendations and organized the local tour guides. Also, the fees this company charged were VERY reasonable compare to other Morocco companies.
Very comfortable always clean car. Aziz was always bring us the bottled water. Very carefully driver.

Hi Cathy A-thank you for your great review. My husband and I are interested in the same trip that you took. We never do tours so we really seek your guidance on something. Tipping!? Is it appropriate and or expected and how much of a tip is right? I'm not asking exactly and we don't mean to be too forward but if you could give us some kind of "range" that would be safe for us to work from, we would sure appreciate it.

There is an expectation that you will tip everyone you connect with during your tour, including your tour guide at the end. If your tour guide takes you to visit a particular place ie a berber family living in a tent it would be around $10 - $15 euro or you stop to take a photo of a monkey you would give the monkey’s owner around $5 euro. $2 to $3 euro if someone carries your bags. Just be wary when you do stop to enjoy a view you don’t accept any gift from a local as a payment will be expected.
For tipping it really depends on what you feel comfortable giving but I think $30 -$40 euro a day in tips would be a reasonable expectation. As for the tour guide just give what you feel is fair for the service provided remembering you have already paid for the trip.
I have to be honest we struggled with the whole tipping process as we don’t tip in our country and we never really knew if we were getting it right but I hope this helps and you have a great time if you go ahead with it.

There are many things to see and do in Marrakech. I'd recommend staying for a few days, not just one. That is too rushed. I found Marrakech much more interesting than Casablanca which is a more modern city

Mohammed is very good. He is often on the road driving etc and takes a while to respond. We found the same when we sent off our deposit. Keep trying. I am sure that when you get there all will be in order. He's on Facebook if you want to try and contact him that way. Under tripstomorrocco. He's a good fellow.
