Marrakech and Fes are the major cities everyone visiting Morocco can’t miss. Combining the Sahara desert with Fes and Marrakech will make your Morocco desert tour as rich as it can be. For that reason, and with increasing inquiries, we decided to suggest a Marrakech to Fes desert trip for you to take advantage of and combine the Sahara desert with the two amazing cities of Marrakech and Fes.

Tour highlights

– Cross the High Atlas Mountains driving past one Berber village after another

– Visit Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou considered a world heritage site by the UNESCO

– Visit Ouarzazate and its Kasbah Ait Ben-Haddou

– Drive along the Valley of the roses & the road of 1001 Kasbahs

– Walk in Todra oasis to Todra Gorges & visit a Berber village

– Ride a camel in Erg Chebbi

– Spend the night under the stars at your Sahara desert camp

– Drive along Ziz Valley and cross the Middle Atlas Mountains with its cedar forests to Fes

Very peaceful park with a lot of bamboo. Water in small pond was low and area was off limits during our visit. We only had about 30-40 minutes here since it was closing at 6pm. Nice respite from the chaos of the Medina.

We visited these gardens without knowing anything about them. We spent a good amount of time walking around and just enjoying the beauty of the trees, the plants, the flowers, the water features and other delights of this wonderful piece of escape from the buzz of the rest of the city. Fortunately there were not many visitors on the day, so it was quite peaceful and relaxing. A good place to visit if you can spare the time.

The garden is beautiful with plantings, benches and water features. Aside from enjoying that, it was a pleasure to see the citizens of Fez relaxing and enjoying themselves here. There were few tourists. While fun and interesting anybody who has visited the Medina knows it can also be stressful and tiring. A visit to this garden would be thing with which to follow up a visit to the busy Medina.

We came to the garden to actually see some foreign plants we haven't seen before. It is a nice garden with a small lake if you want to have a break from the city but other than that nothing special.

The gardens are very close to the Medina and a lovely haven away from the hustle and bustle of the Medina. Well worth a visit to recharge your batteries and prepare to go back into the chaos within the Medina.
