Really enjoyed this experience. We selected our menu along with the one other couple in the group, and went shopping in the souk for ingredients, tasting as we went. Prepared a delicious meal in the school upstairs from the restaurant. Lots of fun, especially after a day of touring all the historical sights.

I'd you like cooking check this out. We got lucky since we were the only ones taking the class. I thought shopping with the instructor would be a waste but it was really informative and fun. The techniques will be surprising helpful. Great few hours worth the money.

Thoroughly enjoyed my cooking class at Café Clock last week. The chef, Souad, was delightful – she made sure the day was fun, informative and relaxing while helping me learn the art of Moroccan cooking. The class was small – just two of us - and we began by planning our menu. We then went to the market to buy... More

This class is so much fun. Cafe Clock is near the Blue Gate so it was easy to find. We were served coffee or tea while we waited for the group to assemble. 6 in all. We selected an appetizer, soup, main and dessert we wanted to prepare from a recipe pamphlet they gave to each of us. We agreed... More

Fifteen of our tour guests arranged for a private cooking class at Cafe Clock in the Fez Medina and loved it. It turned out to be one of the highlights of our Gate 1 tour. The class took four hours. It began with shopping for meat and vegetables with the host from Cafe Clock. They then prepared and cooked the... More

We were lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with Souad for our cooking class. She is an amazing chef and full of fun stories about her life and Morocco. At the beginning of class, you get to choose what you would like to make for the day. Then, you go with Souad to the local street market to... More

I'm not a foodie and I have never taken a cooking class BUT even I think that no trip to Fes would be complete without taking a cooking class at Cafe Clock in Fes. Our chef was an outgoing, charming and fun Moroccan lady named Souad. She painlessly taught us the range of Moroccan cooking techniques and flavourful spices. And... More

Everything about this class was first rate from the instructor, Souad, through the facility to the food. Souad really made the class something special. She is lively, animated and full of stories and insights about life in Morocco. Oh, and she can cook as well! Just so worth it

We loved the cooking class! Souad is a wonderful woman who does not only teach you about Moroccon food, but also about its culture. To start of the course you go to the market and she tells you stories and habits of the Maroccon people you dont find in any book. I dont want to go into detail about the... More

I loved the time in the market and our chat about Moroccan culture. I've now had a few guides in Morocco but all male - it was awesome to get a female perspective. Perhaps I would have enjoyed the food part more if it was earlier in my trip. She explained the limited spices they use in Moroccan food, which... More
