This company and especially YOUSSEF KARAOUI was a pleasure to work with in planning our dream vacation. They worked out exactly what we were looking for which was not an easy task considering we were traveling as a family of 11. From grandparents to very small children, they planned a perfect trip for all of us. We were so excited and then Covid19 happened and we had to cancel 😕. They quickly offered to either postpone our trip or cancel and refund our money. We are hoping to try again in the next few years and won’t hesitate to use Sahara Desert Trips!

Had a great time. Driver/guide was very professional and friendly, lots of interesting facts about the land we traveled through. Several stops along the way. Great hotels to pick from. The camel ride at sunset, and again at sunrise was worth the price of the entire trip! A truly great experience!

We had an excellent four day tour with Sahara Desert Trips, drive and guided by Yassine starting in Marrakesh. He was a great guide who took the time to show us how local people live - we saw everyday souks and a canal system, for instance. We really appreciate that because it helps us to understand and enjoy our travels more. We understood it better than we would have on a large tour. But we saw all the great sights on the way too - kasbahs, Ait Ben Haddou, Dades Valley Todra Gorge. The dunes at Merzouga are stunning and we were made to feel very welcome at the White Camp for two nights. They arranged a dawn camel ride for us. Finally, Yassine brought us to Fes, showing us more interesting sights on the way (Ifrane is very cool). In addition to explaining the sights and culture to us, Yassine went above and beyond to help us mail home a rug we had bought from a Berber cooperative. In addition to the white camp, everywhere we stayed was clean and comfortable. The food along the whole way was plentiful and delicious. All in all, we think a four night tour is a perfect length of time, given the distances involved, but very few companies offered four nights between Marrakesh and Fes. Anything else would be much too rushed. If you book this tour, we highly recommend you ask for Yassine if possible.

Have had for the most part positive trips with Martin Randall Travel, mostly for classical music. However our most recent experience was terrible. We booked a Morocco tour for March 2020. Covid was beginning to show it's sometimes fatal experience at that time. We contacted Martin Randall Travel and expressed our concerns. This was met with denial and a total lack of concern for the health of their travellers. We were advised that if we cancelled, we would forfeit our paid-in-full amount. As information regarding Covid continued to escalate, we decided to cancel and thank God we did. The tour was ended prematurely and my guess is that those who went were not compensated We were able to recover a substantial portion of our airfares and the hotels we had booked both before and after the tour allowed us to cancel with no cost to us. HOWEVER, Martin Randall Travel did not offer any portion of our payment to be refunded. Therefore we will NEVER use Martin Randall Travel again and I would advise anyone considering using Martin Randall Travel to reconsider their decision. There are plenty of other alternatives out there who will treat you better if problems are encountered.

This is to certify that in July 2022 I (and my wife) did a 4 days/3nights Fes to Marrakesh through Mercuga/Sahara Desert Camp tour with this (Sahara Desert Trips and Morocco Travels) excellent company. This company and their representatives take a good, highly professional care of you. They do NOT try to cut corners or make little savings at the cost of your comfort or safety. Read what they promise in their prospectus and rest assured that this is what you will get (as it happened to us…and more). The company recently built their own Sahara Desert Camp and it fully deserves to be called “Luxury”. No effort is spared there so you enjoy your stay with them. We also had the pleasure to meet Youssef Karaoui (owner), very pleasant, down to earth man. If you are looking for a good time in Morocco do yoursef a favor and look no further than this company. We had an amazing time with Ali and Hamed for 4 days on our desert trip! Hamed's English was great and he was very knowledgable. Ali was a joy to be with and a great driver. They went above and beyond for us throughout our entire trip with them and did everything possible to make it the best part of our trip, which it was. Thank you for everything!! We would highly, highly recommend booking with Sahara Desert Trips!!

Together with Sahara Trips, we organized a 9-day circuit in Morocco. Everything was perfectly organized in the smallest detail. Toufik was our guide and he is a professional.

We had a 2 days trip to Sahara from Marrakech. Our driver Abd Alhadi was very helpful. During the trip, he let us sleep and rest. When we're awake he provided us good music. Most of all, he accommodated our requests like stopping by to buy Moroccan plates. He even recommended a place to buy it with amazing price and helped translate. We also stopped by Kasbah Ennakhil and we we're served with delicious lunch. The person who served us is also very welcoming. On our time to the Sahara desert, we met Saeed/Sayid. He was funny and very witty. He made sure we enjoyed our stay. Him and his friends also served us with a hearty meal. The best food! We really wanted to eat all of it because it's so delicious. They even made bonfire even it's summer. They really went out of their way to make sure our experience is explicit. Thank you so much! I really fell in love with the country because of the people and the culture. Hoping to be back next time. 🥰

We really enjoyed our 4 day 3 night tour from Marrakesh to Fes. Our driver and guide Moha was knowledgeable, extremely friendly and helpful. We opted to stay for two nights at the luxury desert camp which was an unforgettable experience. We had a great time and would recommend to anyone!

We did a 2 days 1 night Merzouga Desert tour from Marrakech and the experience was SUPERB! Abdo was very kind and accommodating. He made sure that we get to eat good food and also provided some very good music so that we'd enjoy the long drive. He also showed us places where we can buy very good quality souvenirs. Everything about this trip was amazing. Highly recommended!
Also, the guide (Saeed) that helped us in the desert was very good as well. We really enjoyed the camp and had a really good conversation under the starry sky. Definitely one for the books! Thank you so much Sahara desert and tours!

Thank you so much for your info...quick question: Did you feel like the stops were "salesy" and prearranged? I'm wanting authentic stops and not tourist traps. Also, I'm going with an 8 and 10 year old..albeit great and patient travelers, was the drive miserably long? Thanks SO much!

We had about two stops on our way. One stop was in Ifrane, which is also known as the Switzerland of Morocco. The second stop was at a forest where we got to feed the monkeys. At both places, I did not feel it to be "salesy" at all. Everyone was very nice. As far as travelling with kids, the car ride back may be rough as there were less stops. Our driver was very nice, and I am sure he would have stopped and given us a break if we had asked.

For the overnight trips from fez to Marrakech or vise versa, what do you do with your luggage? Do you need to carry it on the camels with you?

You really don’t need to bring anything with you on the camels if you don’t want - although the camel guy will want a tip and tries to sell you a little camel. So you might want money. The ride is only about 2 hours tops. If you wear a hat, make sure it stays tight on your head. The tent camp is accessible by SUV so they bring your luggage that way. Actually we took the SUV back and it was pretty fun.

We are a couple from Greece and we are planning to visit Marakesh in September.
In our plans is to visit the dessert in Merzouga you for two days. We wil start from Fez and finish in Marakesh so we would like to ask you about a few things:
We need a room with a double bed, breakfast and dinner, private bathroom and air condition (check in 11.9, check out.13.9 or check in 12.9, check out.14.9) in Merzouga.
We need also transportation from Fez to Merzouga and from Merzouga to Marrakesh.
What trip opportunities do you offer? (such as sunrise and sunset camel ride, visiting nomads, riding Buggies excursions / ATV, Day trip by jeep 4x4 etc)?
Please let me know about the availability and the prices.
Moreover inform me about the prices separately in order to decide what to include or not in our trip.
