My friends and I had an amazing weekend with Lahcen. 14 of us came to visit Morocco and Lahcen organized the whole trip for us. He was able to house us all in a villa together with excellent hospitality. Our driver Yussef was phenomenal as well and we had a great time going to the Medina, camel riding, quad riding, and visiting ouzoud falls. Lahcen made this trip very smooth for us with transportation, hospitality, meals, and activities all planned out very well. Definitely a trip to remember.

Lachen set up our 4 day vacation to Marrakech for a group of 8. He did an amazing job with transportation and scheduling all of our activities. We did our vacation via day trips because of our short time frame. I would recommend using Lachen for setting up multi day trips to each location and activities there as well. Anything you need he can do! He truly made our experience amazing and will be using him and his team next time we visit Morocco!

Fes cooking and Lachen are by far the best company to use for tours in Morocco. The communication, service, and experiences were exceptional, and they were so good that my group wants to go back and do more tours with them.
If you use fes tours you will not regret it and they will show you the best possible version of Morocco. I highly recommend using them for any types of housing, cooking, or excursions as every event we did was exceptional and fun.

My friends and I went on a 4 night trip in Morocco. Lahcen picked us up from the airport and took us to an amazing villa where we stayed. He took us to every activity he planned for us which included the waterfall, atvs, camel riding, horse riding at the beach. He made us dinner reservations wherever we wanted and was willing to accommodate everything we needed. We had an amazing trip and Lahcen was the best

5 stars simply is not enough stars to describe what a wonderful experience we had! Big thank you to Lahcen for such unforgettable memories and unbelievable hospitality during our 5 night journey through Morocco. Some highlights were Marrakech, Aït Ben Haddou, camel riding and camping in Merzouga/Sahara Desert, and the waterfalls in Azilal. Traveling with 3 of my friends from the United States who are also studying in Spain, Morocco was at the top of our bucket list and Lahcen made the experience effortless. From daily accommodations to activities to transportation, he organized our entire trip for us and even personally was the one who drove us through the beautiful country each day, as with our specific trip requests we had some driving days of up to 9 hours. While he lets you decide how much or how little you want organized, it was so relaxing and exciting to have each day be a surprise and know that it would be perfect! He knows the best of the best of the locals only spots, and made us feel so comfortable and at home in a new country. A family friend connection who’s known Lahcen for over 20 years had encouraged me to go to Morocco while studying abroad and recommended him saying that he would truly treat us like family and give us the best time ever, but he did just that and more! So thankful for Lahcen and all of the hosts and friends we met along the way - each moment was so special and will be memories I’ll hold for a lifetime! Can’t wait to return to Morocco with more friends and family in the future to not only continuing exploring the country but to visit a lifelong friend. Shukran! We had the BEST TIME!! Me and a few friends are from the US and studying abroad in Spain. We spent 5 days with Lachen and he drove us all over Morocco, taking us to the best restaurants, hotels, and local spots. Lachen really went above and beyond for our group and gave us the most incredible experience Morocco. Amazing food & truly a once in a lifetime experience! Happy to call him a friend :) I highly highly recommend.

Lahcen delivered us a wonderful day to Volubilis, Meknes and Moroccan wine country, picking us up and dropping us off at our riad in the Fes Medina. He was knowledgeable and communicative throughout the process and answered all our questions. He was more welcoming than we could have asked for. He even spotted us some change in a pinch. He was patient with us and his car and driving were safe and accommodating. We would definitely tour again with him and hopefully next journey to Morocco we will have more time to set aside to try out his cooking.

If you think all Moroccan cookery experiences are the same, think again! Lahcen Beqqi is an amazing teacher and great guy. He took us to the Medina and we chose foods together; then he took us to an amazing Riad where we cooked so many dishes. When we sat down to eat it was a first class meal we’d created ourselves. Fabulous cuisine and an amazing day!

My husband and I booked a day with Lahcen Beqqi online before we went on holiday to Fes. We found his website while searching for cookery schools by chance. Lahcen came to pick us up on the morning of the course and we went shopping around the markets of Fes. It was a great experience and we learnt all about local produce and the local market. Lahcen was full of information. It was great fun. Later we went back to the Riad to cook lots of lovely Moroccan dishes. It was amazing and very we learnt so much. There were two lovely ladies in the kitchen helping us, they were really helpful and friendly. The whole day was a pleasure and I remember it very fondly. I still have the cookery book that Lahcen gave us and love to cook his delicious and creative recipes. Lahcen is a patient, kind, knowledgeable and fun teacher and I would highly recommend his courses to anyone wishing to learn about Moroccan food and life. Thank you Lahcen.

Our family of 4 (parents and 2 adult kids) spent most of an interesting and yummy day with Lahcen learning all about Moroccan cooking, and making a scrumptious meal which we then devoured. He picked us up at our Riad in the medina, then we wandered together through the markets to find the best ingredients for the food we would make. Lahcen knows all the merchants and he showed us his favorite places to buy spices, and why he buys which kinds, and where and when to buy the best fish and meats. We stopped at a stall where the woman was making phyllo dough (and making it look easy!) so he suggested I try my hand at it and the woman agreed. Oh boy, was that a reality check! It’s MUCH harder to do than it looks! We all had a good laugh at my attempts!
After walking back to the beautiful Riad where we would cook, we got down to the business of chopping and peeling and cutting and cooking, under Lahcen’s direction. He taught us some tricks to preparing foods, explained how and why certain foods and spices go together in Moroccan cooking and when to add them in, and basically kept us working towards the goal. In the end we made about 8 appetizers and 2 main courses. They set a lovely table for us in the dining room and we enjoyed our meal immensely.
Lahcen speaks very good English so he can very clearly explain the methods, the hows and whys, and exactly what we were supposed to do. It was a very enjoyable and enlightening family day playing sous-chef under Lahcen, and he provided us with a little recipe book afterwards with many of the recipes we had made.
