We are a family of 4 (kids 6,9 yrs) who travelled from USA in Dec 2022. We found out about this company from a friend who also had a great experience with them. Youssef was very helpful throughout the whole process starting from planning till the finish of the trip. We wanted to do a 10 day tour and our itinerary was catered to that. We did our own research and asked to tweak around what was given to us, but soon realized that the itinerary made for us was the best and most convenient. 3/4 of us are vegetarians and our food was planned accordingly. We were picked up by Hamid at the airport who was with us throughout the trip. He spoke very good English in a country where language was a barrier since very few people spoke/understood English. Hamid was very courteous, friendly and took great care of our needs esp since we had two young kids with us.
After we landed back home, we got a message from Youssef that we had overpaid €400 which he refunded immediately.
The company is genuine and righteous.
Our trip felt like a breeze and I would totally recommend Unique Desert Tours for all future travelers to Morocco!!

We decided to go on a 6 day road trip from Casablanca to Marrakesh with Hassan and we had the best 6 days of our time with such an amazing tour guide. He has a fun and outgoing personality which made the trip exciting and enjoyable. He was very responsive in getting back to us from the start to plan the trip and answer any questions you have. He helped us book great accommodations too.
He would answer any questions you have and tell you about the history of the city. The tour he organises is very customisable, where you just have to let him know your expectations , what you are looking for and he will do the rest for you. I would highly recommend booking a tour from him if you are coming to Morocco!

I came into this trip with very little expectations. Was a late decision to spend Easter in Morocco and I had done very little planning. It turned out to be one of the most amazing trips. Hassan was an excellent driver who was always willing to answer any questions and allowed me to learn about the Moroccan way of life. He made the time in the car lots of fun and suggested lots of fun things to do when there was extra time in the day. He found great view points to stop, and arranged local tour guides in the places where I would need them. The highlight was the Sahara Desert and the luxury camp, but I also loved Chefchaoun and Fez. I definitely want to return and visit Marrakech and other parts of Morocco and would definitely use Hassan again.

Hassan took us on a fantastic four-day tour.
From Fes to Marrakech, we joined the Unique Desert tour four-day, three-night private tour. They customized the trip to meet our specific needs and interests. After a camel ride, we slept one night in a tent in the sand dunes near Merzouga and two nights at the Hotel Babylon Dades in the Dades Gorge.
Hassan, our guide/driver, was fantastic. He was always cheerful and sympathetic to our wishes and requirements. The lengthy journeys were made educational and engaging by his humorous anecdotes and talks about Moroccan culture and religion. It was an incredible journey thanks to his efforts and sense of humor. We rode in a nice Toyota Land Cruiser driven by Idriss with care and caution. Idriss comes highly recommended.
With the help of a local guide, we spent most of one day wandering along the Dades River. We saw ancient and abandoned kasbahs and traveled through numerous little settlements along the river. We also got to go around the irrigated fields and orchards, learning about the different plants and crops. It was a fantastic day and highly recommended if you want to get out of the car and see some of the valley's sights.
While we were preparing for the journey, Unique Desert Tour always answered swiftly to all of our communications. The tour was really professional in every way.

We very much enjoyed our two day tour from Errachidia to Merzouga recently. Our host, Hassan was very kind and helpful throughout our tour. We would highly recommend anyone planning a trip to Sahara Desert to book with Wonderful Desert and take the desert trip by car with them. Everything was wonderful and we were in good hands! Thank you, Hassan.

This was a very good experience with a complete tour booked with an excellent company. The hotels were wonderful and so were the beautiful landscapes. Our fantastic tour guide, Lhossain Ouattou (Hassan) was super friendly and made us feel confident with booking with them from day one. He was always attentive to our needs and worried about us feeling comfortable - he wanted us to feel at home. This was an experience we will repeat without a doubt! Thank you, Hassan for making our trip the best ever.

ALLL 77 REVIEWS CAN'T BE WRONG! (Notice there is not one rating less than excellent).
My wife and I went on a 9 day tour of Morocco with Unique Desert Tour and we wish it could have been longer. For months before our tour, I corresponded via email with Hassan. He arranged a wonderful tour of everything we wanted to see and some sites we had no idea about. The hotels/riads he suggested were very nice and comfortable. There were some sites on the original agenda he outlined, which we decided at the last minute to skip, and that was ok. Conversely, there were things we didn't plan on, and the last minute decided to do. All was good with Hassan.
All the meals were very good (assuming you don't get tired of Tagine). The restaurants we went to for lunches (not included in the price) were very very good.
We had two guides, Hassan (aka Dzayno) and Hamid. They not only were knowledgable but friendly and happy guys too. They stopped the car wherever we wanted and also skipped places we didn't want to stop at. They also helped us buy souvenirs from the locals. Additionally, they introduced to friends of theirs, such as Donkey. The best part of the trip was meeting their families in their homes. We know some tourists may not want that, but we enjoy meeting other people in their own environment. Their families were equally as friendly as our guides.
Unique Desert Tour is top notch. They are probably the best tour company we have used around the world. If you would like a great experience and not be pressured into doing anything you don't want to, UDT won't let you down. There are many tour companies in Morocco. We interviewed 10 of them, narrowed it down to 4, then to one. You will have a great experience with Unique Desert Tour.

We did a 12-day itinerary in Morocco! It was fantastic. We traveled from Tangier to Marrakech. Our favorite part was the blue town or Chefchaouen, and the Sahara desert in Merzouga. Riding on the dromedary was an unforgettable experience.

The hotels where we stayed and that were reserved for us on the tour, we liked all of them, the attention was quite pleasant.

Beautiful experience that I’ve loved sharing with friends for my birthday, highly recommended.
It could be even better if you have more time to spend in the desert, which we, sadly, didn’t have.
Hamid was our driver for the 2 days, was super professional and nice with us.

A very unique, quaint experience. The road trip was so fun as we hit up the Atlas Mountains, Tichka, Ourazazte, Merzouga (Sahara Desert), Alnif, Todra, Agdz, and Tijndad. The Kasbah Tifawen Lodge was absolutely beautiful, and the camel ride across the Sahara desert was incredible. I definitely recommend this tour for anyone visiting Morocco!
