This tiny library is an inspiration. It provides a wonderful opportunity for children to read books of all sorts. They welcome donations of money and books as they are entirely self funded.

This facility provides a very needed service to the children of the Medina, it is a humble place that does great work. It is partnered with the Road Laaroussa very near by as a community out reach. Kids are great.

This is an inspired project, which works really well. There should be one of these on every street corner. That there is one in the heart of the Fez Medina is a wonder. Do try and visit and support this great library.

This is a great initiative to support the children in the medina. We stopped in a couple of times to chat with the librarian and read to the children in English, with Samia translating. The focus on Arabic and their Moroccan dialect (Darija) is important to strengthen their early literacy - the older ones have already learnt some French, and they are also interested in English words! Do bring some children's books in Arabic if you can fit them into your suitcase.
