The Corniche was an excellent walk, jog or cycle depending on what you fancied. There were all kinds of people walking on the corniche which is supported by loads of restaurants, bars and of course McD's so every one is catered for.
We did srop for a couple of beers and were surprised at how reasonably priced it was compared to the hotel, which was a rip off.

This area is beautiful it is along the coastline and many people can be seen here relaxing especially in the cool of the evening enjoying the scenery. From here you can see the Hassan 11 Mosque, you can just relax, take a stroll or watch the children riding their bikes or people strolling by. Iit is one of the cleaner parts of the city, very developed and well organized

Loving this place in Casablanca. Spreading over several kilometers, the “boulevard de la corniche” is a long and pleasant avenue visited by the people of Casablanca. One can go for a jog or a nice walk from the lighthouse all the way to the pier, whilst enjoying a beautiful panorama overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Countless restaurants, hotels, clubs and a movie theatre are aligned all the way to the beautiful fine sand beach and the sumptuous villas of Ain Diab.

The worst service ever in all life in yopa tonight
Very bad service, we treat you very poorly just because you only pay 900 euros of food and not a bottle at the table!
we travel a lot abroad and we are much better respected and served elsewhere than in our own country!
Damage!
I don't recommend this place, the dishes are expensive for nothing!
I would much rather go and pay for a good dish in Spain at triple the price than get ripped off in this place where there are aggressive waiters.

La Corniche is part of the Ain Diab district and is known for its beach bars along the Atlantic, where sunbathers and surfers like to go. After dark, the action moves to trendy nightclubs, cocktail bars and establishments with sea-view terraces. The dining scene on the Boulevard de la Corniche includes casual eateries and upscale French restaurants. There are a lot of people, cars can't even be parked. But the ocean view is fantastic.

After visiting the Hassan Mosque, I turned right and decided to take a short walk here. My ultimate goal was to reach the Lighthouse. I admired the ambience, the views of the Atlantic Ocean, etc.
Due to the very hot temperature (around 12:30 pm) and tired legs, I decided to go back and explore the other side of the Hassan 2 Mosque where I noted more restaurants and access to public transports.

Casablanca's famous area by the Atlantic Ocean, many nice spots to be walked with stop for a coffee. The whole cost is magnificent with a lot of restaurants, hotels and organizes beaches. What a pity that on February the weather is not the ideal for a swim.

Walked along here with our tour group after a visit to the mosque . Views of the Ocean , lots of places for coffee , soft drinks & food .
Not everywhere accepted Credit or Debit cards . Be prepared to pay cash and be told how much tip to leave !!!
It was very windy on the morning we visited , ok for a stroll but probably not to make a special trip to visit .

It is the best spot of the city far from the traffic and crowds. Peacefull and relaxed as you have views of the Atlantic Ocean.
The only negative of the area was many abandoned and dirty buildings
Overall is amazing to have your coffee and watching the sea

A long landscaped walkway overlooking the Atlantic ocean. Lined with beach clubs, cafes, and restaurants. It extends from the lighthouse to the Hassan II Mosque.
Some nice hotels including the Four Seasons.

Hi, travelling for 1 day excursion from Marrakech to Casablanca on a Sunday. Can you make any recommendations on must see and would you know if any of the "must see" sights are closed on Sundays? Anything that you don't reccomend? Thanks in advance!
Written June 6, 2019
Hiya, the only must see for us was the colossal Haasan II Mosque. Incredible place.

I am a single mother thinking of travelling to Casablanca on a 1 day layover with my teen daughter. I wonder about safety for us on this trip, is this something I should do or wait until other relatives could accompany us?
Written January 5, 2019
I found Casablanca safe just like any other busy city. I don't think you have to be worried if you follow the general safety precautions applicable for any area of tourist attraction. I have noticed many Western women safely walking along the corniche. Just avoid dark and deserted areas specially late in the evening, which you have to do even in Paris or New York.
