I found this agency on the Net and took a chance as we take chances with a stranger. My apprehension lessened when Rachid - their main man- responded to all inquiries with promptness and professionalism. And in excellent English. Arriving in Marrakech for a 12 day road trip, the last residue of apprehension disappeared when I met the incomparable Abdellah : driver, guide and coffee buddy. The 12 days went without a hitch; great set of wheels, riads with a great ambience, and frequent stops for photography and coffee in out of the way places. And everything framed in the spectacular landscapes of Morocco. The guides were educated, refined and came across more as 'friends' with local knowledge. Nothing was rushed. Its a strange thing to say but I left Morocco feeling I had left behind friends: Rachid and Abdellah. And its not often one can say that about a travel agency. Sukhran.

Trip was booked via Morocco Private Tours, the same company under a different name. Positive - very responsive in planning phase, and also checked up on us during our trip via WhatsApp. Many thanks to Rachid. - Pricing was reasonable and included all tours and entrance fees (and guide tips) - used locally owned riads/hotels and restaurants where possible, which was good for supporting the local economy. - local meal with Berber family was highlight. - Abdellah, our driver was incredible. Humble, open minded, easy going and safe & calm on the roads. Could be improved: - itinerary was very tight and somewhat unrealistic with long drives. This led to some late arrivals and rushed visits. Would expect during the booking phase this would be highlighted so the overall experience would be improved. - some accommodation was below expectations, for the price would expect some higher quality. Overall recommended, but worthwhile checking what can be reasonably done in the time frames....

Our holiday was a 12 day trip across the country, organised by Morocco Culture Travel. The trip was individually scheduled for us. Start and destination was in Fès. Our guide and fellow was calm and nice, so we felt safe and secure all the time. Our wishes were always granted e.g. spontanious stops for phantastic photos or tea times (with „Berber Whiskey“). The riads and dars (small Moroccan hotels) were excellently chosen and comfortable. We were always surprised by the difference between the simple facade and their beauty inside😍 Morocco Culture Travel organised dependable guides, so we discovered the cities side by side with a local. Lunch and dinner were always well selected and our wishes granted, so we were also able to have dinner spontaniously at a typical local butcher. Furthermore, we enjoyed the „Berber pizza“ in a small restaurant in Rissani – only originally prepared with tasty seasoned minced meat😉 We discovered the old market and learned a lot about local spices and dates. An absolute highlight was the trip to Sahara, passing miles of oasis and a unique landscape. We spent our night in a luxurious berber camp in the desert. The clear sky offered us an unforgettable view of the stars. A complete success were the guided tours through Marrakech and Fès as well as the big mosque Hassan II in Casablanca. The residence in Chefchaouen, the blue city, was a perfect ending for our fantastic journey. We would like to thank Rachid and Abdellah for the perfect organisation and realization of a remarkable holiday – even in difficult times when mountain passes were closed because of snow. Inschallah, we will return to your beautiful country, Morocco!❤️

The trip was super. Needless to say. From pick-up to drop-off was super. My mother and I booked a 3D2N trip from Marrakesh with one night in the desert. In Merzouga, we were checked into a luxury tent where there was hot water, fully-furnished and fully-functioning toilet. Food was wonderful, hospitaity tip-top! Most importantly...we were two women being driven around by one male guide/driver and we felt safe, and taken care of. Thank you!

A major miss with the company - the driver spoke very little English and didn’t know our Casablanca itinerary well, and ended up missing the entrance time for our tour to visit the only mosque open to non-Muslims. We trusted the company but our group felt like we went on a giant informercial at the end of the trip. It was an initinary that had a few good sites but had even more visits to commercial shops. Overall the food was 😐, I’d say do travel plans that don’t include meals as they have prearranged deals, and it gets a little repetitive. The towns in general are decent enough to just explore on your own for food. (Riad would cover breakfast everyday anyway.) The driver took us to places that like to charge around $10 per person for meal, and drinks are separate. You can on your own get food for about 7-8$ for two.

Dear Lu, Thank you for letting Morocco Culture Travel Team knows about your recent experience with your friends Trang and Wylie, we apologize if our driver didn’t meet your expectations, and appreciate you taking time to share your concerns. During your budget tour, you didn’t inform us about all these concerns, if you requested us to change the driver we will not hesitate to treat your order very quickly in coordination with the operations’ manager, unfortunately we didn’t hear from you till the 8th when you missed the guided tour of Hassan II mosque in Casablanca. However, you have enjoyed the surrounding area of the building and worshippers square, moreover we have refunded you the tickets. For your information, it is not the only mosque that is opened for non Muslims in Morocco! You have visited many mosque and Coranic schools in Fes and Marrakech. Your comments regarding (Specific Events) will be used to double check with the customer service and deepen our analysis to keep the development of our business model for budget tours and trips in Morocco. If you would like to ask for a refund, please reach out to us directly so we can learn more. You can email us at contact@moroccoculturetravel.com. I ask you to allow us another opportunity to serve you. As we consider it our privilege to see you again in Morocco.
