Typical shops, pastries and coffee places. Nice atmosphere and very confortable walk. Did not like that the prices in the merchandise are not posted anywhere

Lots to see with shops of every type. Much used by the locals. Not easy to navigate but that is part of the charm. Well worth a visit

There are large boulevands, streets you can walk, we recommend the Az Anfa residential quartier, to se some wonderful houses, gardens, build in pure Maroccan style and very stylish itself.

I get the feeling the souk here is actually used by the locals. It is a lot less "in your face" than Marrakech, you could actually browse and look at what you were interested in buying without being strong armed to buy like the second...More

What a wonderful experience! I have visited souks in many countries but this is the largest, most comprehensive for commodities anywhere and, the Moroccans are the most lovely people and do not over-pressurise customers. Sights, sounds, smells and history, it's all here.

It's clean and comfortable to walk around. Stores have good collections. Some of the asking prices are 2-3 times higher than another shops, so make sure you ask around. I simply walk away for ridiculous prices. I'd rather give my business to someone more honest.
