Excellent service from start to end. Ammar coordinated it very well, never tried to upsell me anything, have honest advice based on my itinerary. Knowledgeable polite English speaking drivers. Imad in Casablanca and Mehdi in Marrakech. I am recommending them to my family going there this month.

Is it worth spending a whole day to tour Casablanca? The answer is YES YES YES!!!
Before I arrived in Morocco I’d read quite a few online reviews which advised that Casablanca is the commercial/business hub of Morocco and if you’re after an authentic Moroccan experience then it’s best to spend more time in other cities of Morocco.
But I had a day to spare so my teenage daughter and I booked ourselves a 5 hour tour called “Religious Casablanca” with Urban Adventures.
Our guide was named Hicham Bennis and a more lovely and well-read guide you could not find anywhere. We started at the Hassan the II Mosque at the edge of the sea. It was absolutely spectacular in the soft pink light of early morning. Inside, we filled our eyes with ornate carvings on the cedar ceilings, wash fountains in the shape of lotus flowers, wonderful hanging lanterns and horse-shoe shaped arches with doors made from titanium steel in a kind of steam-punk-meets-Arabic-pattern-fusion.
Another stop took us to the Catholic Notre Dame de Lourdes church. Fairly plain on the outside, it was a riot of brilliant colour on the inside, with sunlight streaming through stained glass scenes on every side.
Next, we were able to understand something about Jewish Moroccans with a visit to the Museum of Moroccan Judaism. Among other things, it housed an impressive sepia photography exhibition.
Our tour also included a stop at the beautiful art museum of Abderrahman Slaoui, the collection of a wealthy businessman, now deceased. The collection of decorated glass boxes and Berber silver jewellery were stand-outs for us. We then continued with a walk through the mellah (Jewish quarter) of the old Medina. There were interesting alleyways to photograph around every corner. We made a stop at a cafe for mint tea and pastries and Hicham instructed us on the “proper” way to pour mint tea in Morocco. Apparently it’s important to pour from a fair height to get a good froth of bubbles and it is auspicious to pour the tea back into the pot 5 or 7 times before you drink it!
Hicham was very patient with us, as we took our time photographing all the beautiful things we were seeing. We bombarded him with questions and he answered everything clearly and concisely with just the right level of detail. We were very lucky to have him as our guide on our very first day in Morocco and I would unhesitatingly recommend doing a tour with Hicham.

A big shout out to our amazing tour guide Mountaim who made our stay in Casablanca one we will always remember. We booked through Casablanca Urban Adventures and beyond.

He had organised to transport us with a driver to all the interesting points of interest. We travelled about in comfort while also hot footing it through the streets enjoying the very best Casablanca has to offer as the locals go about their everyday business.

Mount also specialises tours in Marrakech where he spends most of his time.

My guide Amid was great. He was very knowledgeable. Everything was coordinated perfectly. I would definitely recommend Ammar and his team of professionals for tours in, and around Morocco. We had an awesome drivers as well. He didn't speak much English but he somewhat understood. We really enjoyed his driving technique, and the clean luxury Mercedes van. Thanks again, Zee

This review is for Morocco Casablanca Tours run by Alima Tours. I discovered this company through reviews on the Viator and Tripadvisor, I contacted them and told them what I need for a 6 day trip and maximize the places to see. What a relief! so professional and on point!. We visited Marrakech, Fez, Rabat, Volubilis and Chefchaouen. Its just overnight in each cities because we might not be able to visit these places again if we skip them so even it is fast paced travel, no regrets, we covered what we wanted thanks to our very efficient driver Zaid Boughrara. My friends and I chose the budget trip and we did not expect too much on the services and the accommodation but what a surprise! Alima tours chose the best budget hotels/riad or dar as they call their types of abode. June 4 to 9 2019 Morocco trip is truly unforgettable plus the amazing Moroccan people who are so hospitable and friendly, Morocco is truly remarkable with impeccable culture, unique style and architecture, glorious food and friendly people. It is better to have your trip arrange by Alima tours to have a worry free travel, especially navigating through transportation, finding good eating place, driver/interpreter/guide and finding the best kept cheap hotels in the middle or within the radar of important places in each cities.

My 3 friends and I were in Casablanca and decided to book a tour of Casablanca and Rabat. Ali, the driver was at the hotel way before the agreed departure time. He spoke English and had a lovely and very clean van. He took us to the mosque for a guided tour and gave us some interesting details about the city. In Rabat we met up with Ali, the tour guide. He too was good with his English and knowledge of the local spots....lunch spots included... 😊. Day well spent and the tour was definitely worth it. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a professional tour company and guide.

My friends and I were in Casablanca for a day enroute to Marrakech and we used Casablanca Tours for a tour of the City. Our main requirements was for an English speaking driver and Ali the driver was fluent in English. The private car was also very clean, spacious and comfortable. We did a tour of the mosque and thereafter did a drive through Casablanca as we headed towards Rabat. In Rabat there was a tour guide waiting. We visited the mosalenium also the Kasbah and did a walking tour of the medina. Excellent service by Casablanca Tours thank you Ali for organising an amazing tour within short notice.
