We have done a round trip from Marrakech to the desert in Merzouga and back with Ahmed Haddou. The trip was for two persons therefore we were very comfortable in the large Mercedes van that we used. The pace of the voyage was perfect with stops for cultural visits and recreation. Ahmed is very knowledgeable of Marocco, its geography, historical and cultural aspects. He is an extremely pleasant person and prepared guide. Thanks to Ahmed we enjoyed our vacations and we strongly recommend him if you want an unforgettable discovery of Marocco and the Berber culture.

Ahmed and his driver Hassan, were fantastic tour guides for my 12 day tour. Ahmed is extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, good-humored, personable and flexible. They know all the good photo stops and places to eat (as in Berber pizza!). They were totally willing to make adjustments to the itinerary if needed. All accommodations were beautiful with extremely friendly staff and excellent service. They both were enthusiastic about sharing their love of their country and Berber culture. Don't be afraid to try learning some Berber words! All the people I met thoroughly enjoyed my attempts and it opened up more opportunities to share the local culture. Would definitely book with Ahmed again if I return to Morocco!

A very amazing Desert-Trip with Ahmed and Hassan. To get out of the city and see some landslides, you are absolutely right here. The communication and booking was a easy and fast way - quick and unprompted. From the very first beginning we felt really welcome and save. Ahmed and Hassan are speaking a fluently English. The car was new and full of equipment like air conditioner and first aid. A lot of space in the back to get to the long trip to the desert. The whole trip was a good mix between driving and sightseeing. We had a lot of breaks and time for ourselves. Whenever you want you can stop take a photo, have a rest or whatever you want. Ahmed showed us beautiful places and famous things like the UNESCO Aït-Ben-Haddou. Of course there are a lot of other tourist, but the different to the group tours are the random informations from Ahmed and always the opportunity to take more time or to brake up earlier. The second day is desert day. After seeing sides and places the day ends at the beginning of the Merzouga-Desert. Within 15 other tourist you start your guided ride on a camel to your luxury tend (more comfortable and clean like some hotels in Marrakesh). After having dinner and some authentic drum-music you can watch the stars. The camp is guarded and you feel safe. After a short night you can ride back thrue the sunrise or take the car incase you don’t prefer the camel ride. All in all we only could recommend this trip. It was a good contrast from the busy Marrakech and for the first time we had the feeling that we saw the traditional marokko. Ahmed and Hassan - thank you for the amazing trip. We had a lot of fun and saw so many beautiful things. Many greets to your family, Hassan. We never felt so welcomed in Marokko as in your home. Always remembering your little niece when it’s 26th of July. ;) Thank you - Theresa and Sebastian

We could not have been happier than with Ahmed on our 8 day tour (he can do any length short or long), and there are many important aspects when you spend a full week with a guide and driver. Safety, good driving (our driver was amazing and Ahmed is serious about a good driver), well organized with a good taste of culture, landmarks, scenery, adventure (like the Sahara Desert overnight - take the time to do this!), food, shopping, and monumental sites. There were additional guides in some places (all included) that made our experience even better with more perspectives from natives. And our teen son had the best time with Ahmed. He's young, enthusiastic, funny, patient, professional, and we could go on and on. Our itinerary with many UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Casablanca, Rabat, Meknes, Volubilis, Fes, Atlas Mountains (low/middle on the way south, high on the way back north - incredible!), Ziz Valley, Ifrane, Azrou (monkeys!), Sahara Desert Camel Trek and Luxury Camp, Toudra Gorge, Dades Valley, Quarzazate (UNESCO Kasbah), many small village towns and food on the way, Marrakesh, El Jadid. You can do this!! - all in a short period of time and you need it to get a good feel for Morocco as a country. Get outside of Casablanca and Marrakesh (they are wonderful too), because all parts are unique. Do not miss the chance to head way south and see the desert with the amazing stars, sand surfing, fine beautiful sand, good company around a campfire, good food and excellent hospitality (yes there is wifi if you can believe it). Ahmed has a terrific personality, is knowledgeable, has plenty of connections that make you feel comfortable anywhere. Ahmed is willing to allow you to customize things: we wanted to select our Riads (traditional Moroccan hospitality and gorgeous tile/historic homes)/Hotel in some cities, and we added on a trip to the northern coast the last day (El Jadida). All he is happy to work with you on to make this a trip of a lifetime, all while ensuring it is reasonably priced relative to what you want to do. We would recommend this to anyone wanting to visit, and particularly to request Ahmed as your guide, whether you want just a day trip or a longer trip like ours. Just do it! You won't regret it.

Ahmed did an amazing job showing us Marrakech, Imlil, and Rabat. He speaks fluent English and was a really easy going guy who really cared about making sure we had a good time. Everything went smoothly and we wouldn't have been able to see Morocco in the same way if we tried to do it ourselves.
