Never mind the small beach in the cove, go to the beaches either side of the town

I would say the sea is rough and most suitable for surfers. The water is not cold at all though (start of april) contrary to some of the posts on here. I would watch the... read more

Just love all these beaches, they are so clean and lovely to walk along, a very good advert for coming to Agadir.

I walked along this stretch of the beach, is was stunning well worth a visit. It is clean and near the town allowing for a great chance to grab a coffee after a refreshing wander in the local cafes.

I would say the sea is rough and most suitable for surfers. The water is not cold at all though (start of april) contrary to some of the posts on here. I would watch the currents though and wouldn't go in very deep without a surfboard - there's currents and no lifeguard - but was great to go in a... More

From Agadir to Taghazout beach is an easy ride on bus no. 32, it will cost you 7.50 MAD (0.75€). The beach is nicer and cleaner than in Agadir, and here it is much quiter. You can go for a walk and see a small fish market, mainly used by locals.

Had been recommended to get a local bus from Agadir to Taghazout beach for the surfing. Bus extremely cheap and ran every half hour but when we got there we found surf was low and whole town looked very scruffy. Lots of building work in the area so perhaps in ten years time it will be better.

Beautiful scenery. Abt 30 mins from agadir. Got a grand taxi for 20 dh per person and shared with 3 other people. Don't need more than a few hours here. Beautiful beach with camel riding and horse riding on the sand. Nice quirky shops.
