This was the part of Agadir which was destroyed in the earthquake of 1960. The view from here of the ports and the bay is magnificent.

the view is good but thats pretty much it . the ruins are not much at all and while I appreciate they have history , this is just being drawn out for tourists, with camels etc and men with baby goats for photos. Not great...More

Book a tour and go up the hill visiting the ruins. Nice view on the city and the beach, cute camels. Try to go at sunset!

Its definately worth going up to the Old city, the views are amazing. There are traditional Berber people willing to take you for short history tour. If you are with a tour or tavelling alone its an inexpencive way to spend an afternoon.
