We visited on the only overcast day of two week holiday in January. It's very difficult to find and we had to google maps for taxi driver, and I would suggest you have him wait it cost us MAD 100 for round trip and one hour wait, if not you could be stranded. The private bus which used to service... More

The Medina Polizzi is a bit out of the way, however, it is worth the trip if you want some awesome photo opportunities. Although it appears to have been originally built to be a huge Medina-style marketplace with a vast number of independent artisans, very few artisans actually have shops there. Minus the shopping possibilities and large number of tourists... More

This Medina is a recreation of the one that was in Agadir before the earthquake. It is near the outskirts of the town and is easily and cheaply reached by taxi. There is open land around with camels and other animals grazing. Camel rides are on offer. The actual buildings are incredible. They have been built with the materials previously... More

we came during the week and it was very quiet - which we enjoyed. The vendors are very friendly and don't bother you or try to talk you into buying stuff. They are willing to explain to you their handwork or artwork which was nice. There is a big restaurant with a big playground and some bouncy castles which were... More

Medina Polizzi is located in the southern side of the city, 15-20 min far away from the city center. You won't find public transport to get there and there is also a lack of taxi service. The medina in itself is really nice but it's also quiet small and there is nothing much to do or to see. Most shops... More

We visited during the month of January. We totally understand that it was out of season, but a little warning would have been good, like don't expect much. 40dm to get in. After 10 mins we were done. Hardly any shops open, we were the only ones in there for a while. Coffee house took 10 mins to get the... More

It was a good idea I guess, to put local artisans into traditional looking surroundings; but when the artisans moved out the Medina was left almost empty. So why would tourists visit? To make matters worse the artisans moved to new, cheaper premises located on the road to the Medina. Is it worth visiting? Not if you want to buy... More

Part museum, part souk, part event location, the Medina Coco Polizzi feels like stepping back in time. It seems they have salvaged artifacts from neighboring villages and display them on the back walls like an open air museum. The artisans are very laid back, no one hassles the visitors. There is also a large play area for children! I would... More
