I had a 2 hour massage and hammam. The massage was excellent, she was professional and really good. The hammam was a bad experience. They didnt have a place to change, I was asked to change in the shower room and then later in the locker/waiting room, where men had just been sitting around. Before we started, I had to ask her to move my bag with my phone in it so it didnt get soaked during the shower. She took me straight in for a scrub, no sitting in a humid room with hot/cold water buckets despite what the website says. She left me lying on the slab for good chunks of time, maybe it was meant to be relaxing but it felt quite long, I thought Id been forgotten about (I think about 20 min chunks). I was beside a locker room where people were chatting so not too relaxing. She scrubbed my face so hard that my skin was sore for 2 days after. At the end, she basically nodded at the door for me to leave, the place is split between 2 buildings and you have to make your own way back. I left with soaking wet hair ie no towel was offered to dry my hair. Overall it felt quite chaotic and unprofessional (her snoopy t shirt didnt help!). I was quite agitated after which the owners picked up and they were quite nice to me. I had asked to do the massage first then the hammam, which apparently means the scrub is ineffective - the person taking my booking should have told me that. I did another hammam elsewhere which was a significantly better experience. Wouldn’t go again, wouldn’t recommend it and not sure why it’s so highly rated on TA.

Not impressed at all. It feels like a money-making factory. The treatment started 10 minutes late, with hammam people in and out. Zero privacy. I also have serious doubts about the hygiene level. The girls work hard, and fair play to them. I was put into the same room with slabs with 2 other women, really not relaxing at all, and felt rushed. The massage was nice and firm, again - surely not an hour with girls shouting for the tips at the end. I won't come back. There are plenty of other places that offer much better quality.

My wife and I booked this via our hotel. It was well priced, and ended up being an enjoyable few hours of relaxation. We were surprised to both be in the same treatment room, albeit it wasn't a problem. The girls doing the treatment were very nice and seemed to know what they were doing. It's almost 2 hours, which is a good length of time. If looking for ways to enhance the experience, I'd suggest asking us if there are any specific areas we'd like worked on, rather than it being the same format for everyone. There was a lot of time spent on our feet, and for example, my lower back gives me problems, so I'd have liked a bit more focus on that area. Overall though, we both enjoyed the experience and we'd go back again.

We booked this massage with our hotel in June. Before you book a massage please be aware they they make you strip off in front of them. I wasn’t used to this as the masseuse usually goes out of the room. But they didn’t. Just stood and watched as we was mortified. We did ask if we could keep our underwear on but they insisted we took it off. So we just gave in in the end. The massage itself was good. However was very hard to relax when you have people talking and laughing during it. It made us feel quite uncomfortable at times, as we felt they were talking and laughing about us. Very rude, didn’t speak much English.
