Enjoyed walking along this Promenade and felt very safe as its patrolled by armed forces and security details that move any undesirables along quite quickly.

Great promenade. Beach and the sea on one side and cafes and restaurants on the other. The Kings Palace at one end, and marina at the other. A great place to walk.

A very long, bright and clean promenade. You can either walk in the huge sandy beach or choose the paved promenade. Plenty of restaurants and a very good souvenir shop with a very kind salesman (much better prices than in the Bazaar)

We were told we could get a taxi but we decided the marina could be visited on foot. It was a very refreshing walk by the beach with good restaurant choices at the marina.

Could not believe it was December! Walked along promenade and played on beach with my little boy. Had a great time. Really relaxed and hawkers were not a problem with a simple no thanks. Would definitely recommend a couple of hours at least.
