The tour guide was unenthusiastic... the berber house and argan oil plantation felt more like tourist traps then interesting stops. Once you get to the waterfall there are loads of leering men perving on women in their bathing suits. Don't bother.

Very good scenery and the restaurants on the river side are fascinating some of the tables and chairs in the shallows. Locals swimming. Walking however is hard work if you are of more a mature age.

A good day outside of Marrakech - get away from it all venue (apart from the tourists, of course!). Go early when not so busy with people or vehicles. Must wear sensible shoes - not Sunday's best! Really think about going here without the baby...More

The trip is really worth it. Just hop on a local bus for 20 dirhams, get off after 90 minute ride in Setti Fatma and go up the stream to enjoy the waterfalls. No guide is needed for the tour, neither an agency to organize...More

Total tourist trap. Not a gentle stroll up a mountain, not at all, this is boulder climbing, not for your sunday slippers. The views are pretty and worth the climb. But everything else here is garnered to taking your money, and the berber house well...More

We were in the same boat in March having been in the canaries, thought Essaouira had good write ups but was a coastal town, so opted for Ourika. And it was fantastic. Our hotel organised the driver who in turn had the guide... More
