This attractive and ancient mosque is located towards the end of the corniche and is an easy enough walk from central Algiers. The building itself is interesting but it is the history of the site which adds the real character.

One of the most beautiful and well kept historic mosques in North Africa. You must take some time to see it. It is very well located near other must see sights so not hard to find. Beware, females not allowed to go inside.
