Stopped out for a pint after playing golf. They have very good beers and a pretty cool taproom. Went again to get some growlers filled, the girl was confused about what to charge me; their house growlers are a half gallon and my European growlers...More

Stopped in after a disappointing visit to a nearby winery. My wife and I did a beer sampling and then had a glass each of our favorite. They have games available to play and several tables were enjoying different games. Very nice atmosphere and vibe.

This was our last stop on a marathon Des Moines/Central Iowa Brewery tour. We bellied up to the bar inside and they had run out of many of their popular beers on tap and only had one we were interested in trying. The atmosphere here...More

Nice, small, family owned brewery (next to the winery). Tried a flight, some very distinct tastes. It's fall so there was a Sweet Potatoe Ale....very neat! Prices normal, not high or low. Again, very awesome art work by the owners family member!

The Cider was amazing, the atmosphere was great. Paired with board games made for a perfect day! Wish some of the board games were newer but everything else was great.

We decided sort of spur of the moment to visit this venue after a football game. Very awesome atmosphere, beautiful setting, friendly and knowledgeable bartenders, and good beer. Would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys craft beers and exploring new places.

I'm not much of a beer but, that being said, I will go into nice local breweries for the fun of it. This is on the north edge of Ames, about 5 miles or so from Main Street. Friendly staff pour local brew. Clean. Nice....More

We travel all summer, and went to many breweries in California, Utah, Durango and all over Colorado... and this is by far, beer for beer, the best brewery that we've been to all summer, bar none. The Helix Double IPA is 8.7%, well balanced, and...More

We came here around dinner and there was a very basic food truck. The veggie option was a pretzel and fries... That said, beer was good. (No other drink types served, except cider.) The setting is pretty, serene and comfortable. Good place to hang after...More

Just wanted to let you know that our liquor license only allows us to sell beer and cider but that will change July 1st as we'll be able to serve wine as well. We do offer 3 non-alcoholic options; kombucha, root beer and nitro cold...More

They have some wonderfully crafted beers. Fun and happy staff are more than willing to help you. It's really cool that you can walk through the back area and see how they are crafting their beers. (however, there is only one bathroom)

The prices are typical of what you expect to pay in a brewpub for craft beer. I don't recall the exact amounts, but my feeling is 5.50-8.00/ pint.
