We came for the gnome, but found a lot more! Beautiful gardens, and there was a Lego sculpture exhibit going on that was great! Bigger than I thought it would be and conveniently located in the parking lot of the Iowa State University football stadium. We loved the butterfly garden with many species there. And we had our photo taken... More

Best time to visit was probably during a typical summer weather. A time where one could really see how some flowers blooming in the unique arrangement of the different plants/tress/species. The given map was really easy to follow and i doubt anyone will get lost with that. Have a great stroll in the garden where eventually you will come across... More

This was a beautiful place to visit. I loved the Lego sculptures. We almost missed the spider hanging in corn crib.

A hot day makes the butterflies go crazy, so choose a cooler day for photos. Leggo creations were very clever. Gardens are well thought out and maintained. Interesting shops. Iowa State mascot greets you at front door.

We were at Rieman gardens in the spring when the tulips were blooming. We came back to see what had changed and enjoy the summer flowers. Always lots to see. Plan on spending an afternoon there in order to see everything. Take time to go into the butterfly room and get up close with them. Almost a magical experience to... More

We first visited Reiman Gardens 8 or 9 years ago. We enjoyed it then, and LOVED it when we visited again a few weeks ago. We first did the butterfly exhibit, which had many beautiful butterflies all over. We then toured the inside garden area, which had a small waterfall and pretty flowers. Very nice. The outside is where this... More

The butterfly exhibit was superb. The butterflies were literally circling us. The gardens were beautiful maintained with great diversity. Their long range plans for the gardens are delightful and will bring me back. They have specials exhibits over the winter season.
