Wife and I took a trip up to look at flowers and the butterfly garden. Was good, will probably do again sometime.

I love to stop by the Reiman Gardens! They constantly change the decor with different themes. The gardens are super well maintained and gorgeous! Children always enjoy the different areas of the complex.... inside and out.

Thank you for your review. Since you said so many positive things in your review, I was wondering if it was possible that you selected a one star rating for us by accident. More

I appreciate your positive review of Reiman Gardens. It’s great that you enjoyed your visit with your wife this summer. I do hope you plan to visit again in the future. We have a new theme each year, which means the garden plantings and exhibits get changed out annually. So there’s always something new to see. More

I took a watercolor painting class at Reiman Gardens and we painted butterflies that we sketched in the butterfly house! Totally cool! There is so much to enjoy at Reiman Gardens. Pay your membership fee to support this excellent horticultural venue, and then enjoy frequent visits because they have so many special events going all of the time.

There is a butterfly room with mostly exotic butterflies, but when I visited (in July) there were as many native butterflies in the flower gardens outside as there were in the butterfly room! I'm an amateur nature photographer, and this place was right up my alley.

My favorite thing about this place is the indoor garden. It really helps with seasonal blues. My niece loves the butterflies too :D

When my friend said he was moving to Ames I found the need to google things to do there. I then found the "world's largest concrete gnome" and from then on knew we had to see it. Not only was I not disappointed by the cutest gnome I had ever seen, Rieman gardens was beautiful! Not having looked Into it... More

I love going to the gardens each month to see what is new and watch the horticultural wonders. The warm butterfly house is especially nice on a cold day. The special train display right now is especially fun. I love Elwood the world's largest concrete gnome and find wonderful things in the gift shop to treat myself and my friends... More
