A nice facility in downtown Arlington Hts IL that is somewhat intimate (not toooo small) that offers plays, concerts, musicals etc. Recently attended Ring of Fire, a Johnny Cash tribute cover band. Enjoyed them. Sound is good as are sight lines. Concession stand in theatre serves beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages, only. There are some good restaurants within walking distance.

The talent this theater manages to find is downright amazing. We have not been disappointed by any of the shows we've seen. And the theater is small enough that there's a great view from every seat. Free parking is just around the corner in the big garage. There is a bar and you can bring your drinks to your seats... More

Great intimate setting in downtown Alington Heights. Easy to park! Many quality resturants in easy walking distance. The play we saw was excellent. Not a bad seating the entire space.

Hard to get tickets if you are looking for a Holiday performance -- you have to get them early. The size of the theatre will give every one a decent seat if you can get a ticket. Not a lot of other shows that interested me.

I love this theater. It is small enough for everyone to see . Also, it is right downtown near all the resturants

I enjoyed Rent. The theater is a intimate space that lends itself well to more earthy, productions. Yes, a few of the performers were occasionally flat, but those are some tough harmonies that sometimes sound wrong when performed as written. And if mooing along with the performance artist is too much to ask, there was no public shaming of conscientious objectors... More

It's a nice venue. It's small and intimate so every single seat is a good one. It is in downtown Arlington Heights so you can choose from many different restaurants to eat at first and then walk over to your show. Parking is free in the parking deck.

Season package is a good price for what they offer. Pre-performance price is much better. Theater has a good location for meals before and after the shows. Also, drinks are sold during intermission and can be brought into the theater.

This is the worst rendition of RENT that I've ever seen (and I've seen it twice before). The director took way too many artistic liberties with this. AWFUL! It's the first time I've ever walked out of a play at intermission. I'm soooo disappointed. I love the Metropolis and everything I've ever been to has been A+ but don't waste... More

Last night my husband and I attended "Rent" a subscription ticket. We almost didn't get the season's tickets because I had seen "Rent" before and was not impressed. I hoped Metropolis might improve it. If you like screaming songs, no melody, 5 letter words & actions, encouraging the audience to "Moo" like a cow you will love it! I can't... More
