Great coming back

Great coming back, great sites, great location, close to silerwood, loved the locals in Athol who gave us a place where to get wood.

Having traveled to many State and National Parks, I have to rate Farragut State Park as a 5 star attraction. The park was constructed in 1942 as a Naval training base right after Pearl Harbor. It was believed that a more inland location was safer than a coastal location. Build in 11 months, the base housed up to 60k men... More

We stayed at this beautiful campground while we were visiting Silverwood Theme Park and loved it. The campground was clean and wonderfully kept by staff who clearly worked hard to prepare each site and were very friendly hosts. Bathrooms and showers were clean and plentiful. There are tons of trails throughout the park and my daughter really enjoyed exploring while... More

Been to this park a few times over the past decade. It's clean, easy to get to, quiet and lovely. Close to theme park, Silverwood, which is always a blast. A short drive to Sandpoint is absolutely gorgeous, quaint town.

We stayed here for a few days while visiting Silverwood Theme Park. First thing we noticed was the spots are very well kept. Everything is green and spacious. They rake out your gravel area so it is perfect before you get there. The park is huge with many different loops and trails to explore. We will definitely return and stay... More

We had a most enjoyable stay with 5 adults, 4 pre-teens, a small motorhome and a tent both of which fit nicely in a lovely, private site. The park's visitor center and the staff are awesome. Close enough to Silverwood to enjoy the park during the day and then a camp fire with smores at night.

Beautiful park. Big area. Nice camp spot. Nice walking trails. Showers in good condition and clean. Neat little museum. Quite a long walk to the bathrooms in our section. So if you are one who uses the toilet during the night get a spot close to bathrooms.

Rambling state park on the site of a WWII navy training base, stunning views of Lake Pend Oreille, and an interesting museum in the old brig. Well worth a day or more's visit.
