Short and free!

We watched it from the pool bar of The Modern Honolulu. Nice quick show that finishes with a bang. Worth a look if you're in the area.

What would you expect? Friday night fireworks, put on by Hilton are small, but are done for free each week. It was our 10th wedding anniversary and we were walking around Waikiki around sunset. We knew the show started at 7:45 pm and we were willing to wait. There are plenty of things to do while you are waiting: walk... More

We waited on Waikiki Beach for the fireworks and the display did not last very long. Perhaps we should have gone closer to the hotel.

The Friday night fireworks are great they are launched from the narrow strip of sand between the lagoon and the ocean right in front of the rainbow tower. A must see attraction on friday nights

A surprisingly expensive and energetic display of fireworks that only partially clears the Hilton's Rainbow tower. We hoped to see this from our hotel room in the Kalia tower but the view was 25% obstructed from the 21st floor. Best scene from the beach it looks like. Display occurra near the lagoon in the sandy area between the lagoon and... More

Can't pass up free fireworks in Waikiki. They happen at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort every Friday night at 07:45pm. The best view is from the beach which is accessible to everyone even if you're not staying at the hotel complex. They go for about 5 minutes and although they aren't the best fireworks I've seen they are... More

We were sitting in the lanai behind the golf course when these took off. A fun surprise for us. They lasted about 10 minutes and it wasn't until u looked them up that u discovered what they were. What a great idea for the Hilton.

The firework show is good. Very colorful and high intensity. It is a bit short though and it does not have background music. However easy access to it (if you are staying or dining at Hilton Hawaiian Village) makes it a very appealing activity to do when you are in the area.
