Was glad to be able to visit this place in our day tour. The beach is very calm the time the family visited. Water was clear, the Chinaman's hat is an island very prominent on the shore view. And if you look back the other side, you will see the majestic mountain that reminds you ok Jurassic park movie. The atmosphere is chill that can help you clear your mind. If you stay loong enought you might be able to collect pooka shells for a bracelet.

We had a great time on our tour! The raptors were a blast to drive and the trails were beautiful. I had no idea just how many films were filmed on this location. (Im sure all of the guides are great) but I can't imagine they could beat our guide! Issac was funny, very welcoming and hooked us up with some photos and memories that will a life time! Try to get Issac if you can you won't be sorry! If your on the fence I say go for it!

Great little park with a beautiful view! We brought take out and enjoyed lunch at the picnic tables before taking a walk. The water is rough, so we did not get in, but still enjoyed walking along the water. Bathrooms are primitive.

We took the Hollywood Movie Sites Bus tour which is approximately 90 minutes in duration. There are only two stops on the tour. One is at a WWII bunker which houses a lot of information about movies and TV shows filmed on the ranch and the other is at a site with props from the movie, Kong: Skull Island. This is a basic but fun tour and our tour guide, Caleb, was fun and very informative. If you have back problems which all of us do, then this is the tour to take as the others are apparently very bumpy and not recommended for people with back problems. The tour is worth it just for the incredible scenery. It is unbelievable! The Ranch is very well organized and beautiful. Check in was seamless. Definitely go and take a tour!

Beautiful spot with a beach overlooking Mokoli'i Island and Kane'eohe Bay and with the Ko'olau Mountains forming the backdrop to the regional park. This spot was used in the filming of Jurassic Park and the view of these mountains rising straight into the air is quite stunning. I was hoping to kayak out to Mokoli'i Island to do some hiking but could not find anywhere to rent a kayak. It was quite windy that day so kayaking may have been a mistake anyway but I'm not sure if kayak rental is available on other days. Nevertheless, I was able to get some spectacular photos during the visit.

The views are great, the waves are calm, but if you came with the intention of letting kids play in the water or dig in the sand beware. TONS OF MAN-O-WAR!!!! They were washed up on the beach and in the water. They can still sting when dead. We collected 20-25 of them to clear our beach area, and found that a good handful washed up while we sat in chairs enjoying the view.

The bathrooms were filthy. Human feces smeared all over the bathroom doors and toilets.

Not the experience we were hoping for. Family of 7 with kids ranging from 16 down to 7

We stopped on our way to Kualoa Ranch to take pictures of Chinaman's Hat. It is a nice, large park with grassy areas and camping. We drove down to the far end and walked out to take pictures. The beach on a Friday was empty. There are great views of Chinaman's Hat and when you turn around you can see the Ko'olau Mountain range. The park is only a few hundred feet from Kualoa Ranch. I bet it is a lot more crowded on weekends!

This regional park is located a Kane’ohe Bay on the the windward side of Oahu. It is an excellent place to view the “Chinaman’s Hat” or “Mokuli’l in Hawaiian. The long narrow beach and park were not crowded when we were there. There are clean public restroom facilities and free parking. Picnic tables and benches are scattered throughout the park on a first come, first serve basis. Across the street of the park are the mountains used in the filming of Jurassic Park. A nice quiet place to relax.

The ranch is beautiful and the food was amazing. Kama did a great job as our driver and your guide. He told us about the history of the ranch and Hawaii in between stops. Mahalo kama we enjoyed the trip and look forward to seeing you on film soon.

This is a gorgeous spot for photos and enjoying the beach. We were on a full island tour, so we couldn't stay long to enjoy the water. We got some great shots of Mokolii Island and Kualoa Mountains.

It would be a great place to spend the day and have a picnic. There's trees for shade and grassy areas along with a sandy calm shore.

The park is easily accessible from the highway with lots of parking.
