The Lanai lookout affords two fabulous photo opportunities. (They can be your best vacation photos on a sunny day.) First, facing the waves to your right, is Halona Beach Cove also called Eternity Beach. (Deborah Kerr and Burt Lancaster frolicked in the waves here in...More

Well worth the stop! A small blowhole that is marked with a Pole. If you watch for a while and the waves are just right, the water will fountain out. Also, small beach within the rocks is where I was told the beach seance from...More

This was a nice surprise and yes you need to climb over to go down. Make sure you have good tennis shoes and it gets slippery. The rock formations are incredible, the breeze refreshing and the water coming in and out and splashing onto the...More

This place has limited parking but people don't stay long so if it is full just wait a couple of minutes and you will get a spot. The rock formations are really interesting and everybody jumps the wall to have a better look at it....More

This place has great views of the water and the ocean can get rough at times, usually windy on this side of the island and very visited by tourists especially since the blowhole is in the vicinity, recommended no more than 45 minutes to visit.

We happened upon the lookout driving the highway to Waimanalo and we are so glad we stopped! Breathtaking views and a great picture spot. The lot was crowded with visitors. Very scenic lookout point.

If this is the pull off area/parking lot down from the Lookout, then go. Kids ventured out to see the blow hole. To get that one picture (iPhones DO NOT like salt water...) anyway, it is mesmerizing to watch the waves break over the rocks,...More

We actually came upon the lookout accidentally. Simply amazing. The crashing waves, the different rock formations, the view and wind all made for a fun and beautiful visit. We scrambled down to the lowest level of rock formations, getting close to the water's edge. Pictures...More
