Walkway is paved but uneven and the incline could become a challenge at points. Walk is 1.5 miles round trip. No restrooms. Bring water. The scenery was amazing! Couldn't resist heading to the coastline in the distance after seeing the view. A must do...kids enjoyed...More

I've been here twice now, and both times taken back by how awesome the views are. It's not so much of a hike as a paved patch around the slopes near the coastline. You'll see some abandoned bunkers and a light house and some awesome...More

The beauty of this area is only exceeded by the ever constant stupidity of visitors climbing over the safety fences to see if the blowhole really blows. You can often see turtles at the nearby, "From Here to Eternity" beach. If you have to swim,...More

This was my favorite walk we did while on Oahu. For those who are not used to hiking, expect a paved, uphill climb.....to terrific views. Downhill is easier and less sweat. Plenty of people were on the trail with strollers and small children. Near the...More

On a nice day one can see the other islands: Moloka'i, Lana'i, and Maui. If it is really clear and crisp you can make out the small island of Kaho'olawe. During winter you can see whales off the coast. A great place to visit!

Beautiful place to see - but make sure you stay out of the water unless you know how to swim!

I love that this hike is free, and relatively easy. It's 3 miles round trip, so half of that is uphill. I think most people in generally good health can easily make this hike. There were people of every age there. There are plenty of...More
