3 Tables Beach - beautiful beach and good snorkeling for beginners

Water was very calm to snorkel in during August. Don't have to go far to find coral reef and lots of fish. Water is very clear. Found parking right by the beach - there is a low... read more

Water was very calm to snorkel in during August. Don't have to go far to find coral reef and lots of fish. Water is very clear. Found parking right by the beach - there is a low wall that cars can park in front of. Easy to pull in, but tricky to pull out due to lots of oncoming traffic... More

The beach was very lovely and the water entrance was so much easier than Shark Cove next door. We saw a big school of fish and a huge Christmas Wrasse (aka rainbow fish) which was as big as a Blue Parrotfish. It really made my day.

This is a great snorkeling stop if you are touring the North Shore. On the beach side there are two locations, one for tide pool wandering, the other side for snorkeling. Across the street is a food truck court with shaved ice, fish tacos etc. Note: Bring water shoes, the tide pools are very rocky, and depending on the time... More

This is a great place for snorkeling, was not too crowded like many other places on the island. I would advise bringing some water shoes as the initial part to get in has a lot of rocks. After around 50 feet in you can float most of the way through. Not may corals but plenty of colorful fish. There is... More

Friends of ours offered to drive us to the North Shore for a spot of snorkelling and we jumped at the fantastic opportunity to compare this side of the island with that of Hanauma bay on the southeast. Wow, so glad we went! It was hard to find a spot to park our vehicle but we found one at a... More

This beach has great snorkeling but can be rough. Make sure you enter from the side because the surf can push swimmers onto the rocks/coral when they try to get in. It is deeper in some spots bit there are lots of large colorful fish

Every entrance (road side) to this park is amazing. The variety of sea life is beautiful and seeing the waves splash up with crystal blue water is amazing. Wandering the large mounds of coral (as big as boulders) is as much of an adventure as looking around at the various sea life swimming amongst the rocks. Fish, eels, crabs and... More

Located right along the highway, there is parking in the immediate area. On the day we came by, the surf was building along the North Shore, so it was pretty to watch the surf, but we did not feel comfortable going in.

Pupukea Beach Park is a combo of 2 great snorkeling places in the summer - Shark's Cove and Three Tables. It is located on the North Shore on the Kam Highway right across the street from the Foodland. We had snorkeled in Shark's Cove in May 2013. The water was totally flat and the snorkeling was great - tons of... More

There are several wonderful spots along the North Shore but this is beautiful. There is a small parking area that won't require you to run across the road and dodge cars! The tide pools are unique and the drive here is just as beautiful ! Weekend traffic us busy but we came by on a late afternoon and just watched... More
