Had a personal tour to learn about the tiny farm. Interesting to learn about Mac nuts. Got to try samples, learned how to open Mac nuts. Worth the stop!

This was very informative! Nice lady gave a talk about the trees and the history of the place, then we were shown how to crack the nuts, and given free sample of the nuts, some honey too!

Tons to learn from the people here. Very willing to talk and teach about the macadamia tree and it's life cycle. We really enjoyed it and nuts are delicious.

We found this place our last day on Molokai. You never know when you will have the opportunity to learn something and this was one of those times. Did you know that Macadamia trees produce all year? I learned that and a few other interesting facts about Macadamia nuts and the nuts the Purdys sell. This is a beautiful and... More

We loved the 30 minutes or so we spent learning about Macadamia Nuts and the difference between what we buy in the store and those that are fresh like on this nut farm. We got to see all stages of nut development from the flowers to the actual nuts. Then we got to actually crack fresh nuts and eat them.... More

We stopped at Mr. Purdy's Mac Nut Farm while touring Moloka'i. Mr. Purdy is a third-generation Hawaiian living on this homestead in Hoolehua. In a short time, he told us all things macadamia nuts and answered all of our questions. We bought some roasted macadamia nuts (no preservatives) and some delicious macadamia nut honey. He is a kind soul with... More

I took the molokai island ferry/bus tour and this was one of the stops. The lady was informative, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the nuts were awesome. We also tried the honey and honey mustard, walked away with a box of goods! YUM! I was most excited when she told us to visit her online store!

Delightful stop on Molokai! Purdy's All-Natural Macadamia nut farm was refreshingly relaxing. We were there day after Christmas and ran into some rain which seemed to throw off the flow of his tour sequence a bit- but it was a very informative and interesting. Upon arrival you learn about the life cycle and origin of the tree itself as well... More

Very glad we checked out Purdy's. It's a very small, family operation. The owner was very informative. Is a must to see if ever on Molokai!
