I took the molokai island ferry/bus tour and this was one of the stops. The lady was informative, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the nuts were awesome. We also tried the honey and honey mustard, walked away with a box of goods! YUM! I was most excited when she told us to visit her online store!

Delightful stop on Molokai! Purdy's All-Natural Macadamia nut farm was refreshingly relaxing. We were there day after Christmas and ran into some rain which seemed to throw off the flow of his tour sequence a bit- but it was a very informative and interesting. Upon arrival you learn about the life cycle and origin of the tree itself as well... More

Very glad we checked out Purdy's. It's a very small, family operation. The owner was very informative. Is a must to see if ever on Molokai!

If on Molokai, Hawaii you must visit Purdy's . He invites you on his orchard of 80 year old Macadamia nut trees and you must have 20+ minutes to listen to his educational tour. Do not interrupt him, he memorizes the tour in a sequence. First stand under the trees and look at the developing nuts then see how he... More

All natural, herbicides used. They only roast the macadamia nuts they do not use oil. Fun cracking open the dried macadamia nuts and eating them. Have nuts, honey and other products from the farm available for sale.

You can feel the aloha for the aina here. You park in a turnout along the road. You enter into a tunnel of trees, tropical plants, vines, and the sounds of local music. as you proceed along the path, the smell of burning macadamia nut shells and husks...then, you come upon a person, (sometimes the owner, sometimes his sister) cracking... Note: This venue was part of a Molokai tour and this review is included in my review of Hawaii Ocean Project tour to Molokai. The next stop was Purdy's Natural Macadamia Nut Farm, an avoidable venue if you are on your own. Although we learned about macadamia nut processing and how this venue does it organically, the owner was anything... More

A must see. Learned how to crack a nut and saw where the roasting happens. Was able to purchase nuts on right from the farm as well as honey made from the blossoms of the macadamia nut trees. Met the owner of the farm. Very cool dude. Bring cash for goods.

The owner looks like a hippie/surfer out of the 60's and this stop was a highlight of Molokai. He was very informative about Macadamia nuts and its harvesting. Then gave us a chance to crack fresh nuts and taste them and then the guy sliced fresh coconut and let us dip them in different macadamia nut sauces.
