Nice Beach Park

A great beach to bring your kids. No lifeguard on duty so be aware of wave and current conditions. When in doubt, don't go out.

This is a public beach and an easy walk (two minutes tops) from the Four Seasons Resort. The resort has towels and chairs available to its guests at the beach. It was never crowded and a perfect place to watch the sun set!

Great Visibility for snorkeling. All kinds of colorful fish. Best is left side of beach. Tide pools are fun to look at too. Ferry from Lahaina was worth the trip. Walking distance from ferry harbor. Small store at harbor for snacks. No food to purchase at beach

Saw schools of colorful fish while snorkeling near the rocks on the left side (as you look from the shore). Plenty of parking, picnic tables, shade, showers, and toilets. A stone's throw from the ferry dock.

I took the ferry ($60 round trip) from Lahaina to Lanai as a day trip. In whale season (nov. 15 to March 31) this is also a whale watch opportunity so have your cameras ready! The beach is just a short walk from where the ferry drops you off-road to the left, then left- it is not crowded and has... More

Took the ferry from Lahaina ($60 round trip, about a 45 minute ride, totally worth it) to Lanai and walked maybe 5 minutes over to Hulopoe beach. Couldn't believe my eyes at how beautiful it was! It was not crowded at all, almost felt like a private beach. There is the four seasons resort, and not much else around. There... More

We arrived on the 6:45am ferry from Lahaina and there wasn't one person on the beach when we got there. We walked across the beach to the Four Seasons and spoiled ourselves with a gourmet breakfast with a view (each order of Kona coffee gets you an entire pot), then went back for lunch at their wonderful terrace restaurant, "Malibu... Ferry ride and pack a lunch. Bay protects the beach from heavy waves. Lots of picnic tables and bathrooms.

Best beach because it has moderate waves, is clean, has bathrooms ( nice ones) friendly locals, places to snorkel and tide pools. Loved it!!

There are only two sand beaches of consequence on Lanai. The rest are a collection of flats, cobble, and broken coral. One is Gold Sand Beach on the west end beyond Garden of the Gods. The other is Hulopoe Beach which is the subject of this review. Just to put something to rest before going any further while Gold Sand... More
