I think the pictures say it all. One of the greatest sites I've ever seen and it is very easy to drive right up and see the views. You just keep going after Waimea Canyon.

Stellar views overlooking the coast, right out of Jurassic Park. + Incredible views + Lots of parking + Restrooms These are just a few of the reasons why you should make the LONG (by Hawaii standards) trek on hwy 550 to the Kalalau Lookout. It...More

The road to Kalalau Lookout is long and windy. The weather is unpredictable. So just take your time, enjoy the views on the way up, and you will not be disappointed. If the weather is bad when you get there, just wait a bit and...More

We love this area once in a life time. We hit cloulds and rain since it rains 400 inches a year so be patient. Some times you need 2 or 3 attemps to see clear views No where else in thw world..must see

It was rainy and cloudy so, unfortunately, we didn't get to see much. If you want to see the view, make sure the weather is good.

Take the drive up to this look out and be amazed. The view is unlike anything I've ever seen. The canyon, mountains and ocean are all right there. You really can't miss this view.

This is Kauai, the overlook is the soul of the island and a must see. Whether you take the windy paved road up, see it from the air or hike the eleven mile trail.
