This was such a fun and exciting adventure for my boyfriend and I! The boat captains Jake and Micah were awesome, we really loved learning about the history of the island from locals who love and cherish this special place. They were such skilled boat captains and we felt super safe even on a rafting boat where we pretty much only had "feet belts" made of rope to hang on! Very very adventurous and highly recommend this tour, the smaller boats allow you to actually get access into the amazing caves and areas the larger boats cannot go. We loved the turtles and seeing the spinner dolphins, we even saw a baby! Snorkeling was amazing as well and we appreciated the delicious snacks after an afternoon exploring. Take the morning tour!

Capt. Colin and Corbin made our trip taking us out to see na pali coast in the most one of a kind way. We went into a total of 4 sea caves, saw a reef shark and a sea turtle while snorkeling and even came upon a school of dolphins on the way back. This trip is not for the faint of heart, you will be gripping on to ropes for half the day as you boat out to the coast but once you are there it’s beautiful. You shouldn’t come to Kawai without seeing the na pali coast and to do that you have a few options: 1. Obtain a hiking permit which sell out months in advance, 2, charter a sunset sail which just sails by for photos, 3, take a helicopter or airplane tour or 4, take a boat tour and get up close and personal. The Na pali pirates boat tour was the most extreme adventurous way to see it. One thing I appreciated about Capt. Colin was he took us through the same cave twice, once for us to take pictures and once where he said “ok, you have your pictures if you want to put your cameras away, I’ll take you through it again and this is just for your memory bank, experience it for yourself this time.” I thought that was really great. Thanks again

We brought our kids to Kauai for the first time (ages 8, 10, 12 and 15) and we knew we wanted to do all the adventuring. We couldn't have started our trip off better than with the Na Pali Pirates! If you haven't done the Na Pali coast with the Pirates, you haven't done it. Absolutely adrenaline pumping from the start. Jake and Roy were theeee best Captains and guides possible. Incredibly responsible and safety conscious, while still making it super fun and they also tell the best jokes. We had a beautiful day, despite being close to winter season, and were able to go into multiple caves. We also saw bottlenose dolphins and a ton of spinner dolphins who put on a show for us. I would recommend (and already have) this tour to anyone visiting Kauai that wants an adventurous, wet and wild time. It felt like a once in a lifetime experience, but I know we will all be back!

An absolutely incredible time. Captain Jake and Captain Micah made us feel safe, they shared a ton of local knowledge and story, and some good and not so good jokes that somehow were all hilarious. We saw bottlenose and Hawaiian spinner dolphins, as well as a monk seal, and learned interesting things about them. Snorkeling stop with tons of fish and sea turtles too. The ride back through the swells with music blasting had everyone singing along to the captains playlist and felt like the best rollercoaster you've ever been on. I cannot recommend this trip enough!

This is A MUST when you are in Kauai! Captain Jake and Jacob were incredible and got us into sea caves, up close with the gorgeous coast line and even found a 10 minute whale breaching show. We also had 2 huge pods of dolphins right next to the boat. Captain Jake is a very skilled captain and found calm water for us to swim in for 30 minutes. The history lesson that we received was very intriguing and informative as well from this solid crew! Don’t waste your time on the sunset catamarans, especially if you get sea sick. Do yourself a favor and go party with this crew for 4 hours and really experience the Na Pali Coast!! Thank you to the Jacob’s!!!!

We booked our snorkeling excursion very last minute and Na Pali Pirates had 2 seats left. The price seemed steep at first (we were on a budget) but I’m so glad we went. We went 5-23-22 on the afternoon boat with Captain Jake and crewmate Jacob in the afternoon. Both of them were super professional and knowledgeable. The raft/boat was controlled perfectly and didn’t feel sick at any point. One thing to keep in mind it is a faster raft/boat compared to other companies, and might be discomforting for some, however they asked people at the start if there were any concerns. The cove/beach we stopped at was very nice and had everything you’d want to see snorkeling: turtles, tons of fish, a huge reef, reef sharks, and dolphins. We stayed in the cove for the perfect amount of time and didn’t feel like we got shorted on time snorkeling. After hearing how a friends trips with another company, who went during the same vacation, I’m super glad we went with Na Pali Pirates. I would 100% recommend them every time.

I was in Kauai for a week and decided to go on this little adventure ride on day three of my trip. It easily became the highlight of my vacation and I would love to do it again someday soon when I revisit the island. The Napali coast is a true wonder and I'd recommend everyone visiting Kauai to consider making this part of your trip and take a day trip with the Na Pali Pirates - these guys were simply the best. The sights and sounds made for an unforgettable experience. The boat ride was surprisingly more exciting than I'd anticipated, and added immensely to the thrill of the entire experience. Would do it all again in a heartbeat.

We joined captain Jake and Micah on an amazing adventure along the Na Pali coastline, and got to see these amazing mountainside cliffs and caves up close. I have done a hike and helicopter tour, and both were spectacular. This tour still beat them both, in part because of the deep access to sea caves and sacred coastline, but especially due to the amazing tour guides/captains of the boat. We learned so much about the rich Kanaka maoli history along this magical coastline. Highly recommend this to anyone who wants an unforgettable adventure, and doesn't mind getting drenched along the way!

If you want to have a blast while seeing Napali this is the way to do it. Captains Colin & Jake took great care of our group while making the trip exciting and fun. We got lucky with the weather and were able to go way up the coast and see all that this magical coastline has to offer, beginning with a small pod of spinner dolphins before seeing a pod of over a 100 surrounding the boat and leaping out of the water.

Colin & Jake gave great history at each spot we stopped, showing their passion for the island and culture. Watching them expertly maneuver the boat into and through the caves was a highlight of the trip. A snorkel stop with multiple species of fish was a great way to cap off the trip before ripping back to the dock.

My dad and I had an incredible morning rafting excursion with Micah and Jake. They are both Kaua'i locals and Micah taught us so much about the history and land features on the island. We got to see a large pod of dolphins in the morning followed by an exciting trip along the coast. Jake and Micah are both skilled navigators and they went above and beyond to take us farther up the coast at my dad's request. The size and format of the raft was so fun and allowed us to enter the sea caves. Jake pointed out Niihau (the forbidden island) in the distance on the way back. I highly recommend Na Pali Pirates over the larger tourism companies. This tour was a highlight of our trip. Thank you so much!
