You HAVE to pick this company. It was the best we’ve been on for NaPali coast. We went into all the caves as the raft was very maneuverable. It’s a bit vigorous! The 5 and 9 year old did great, but they’re tough kids. If you want something sedate, pick another company! It got a bit rough going back, but was so fun jumping the waves. Great, experienced driver!

Positives: 1. Amazing to see the Napali Coast, get inside the caves, see dolphins, and more. 2. Captain Chris dominates the area, the zodiac, and was very nice during the tour. Negatives: 1. I’m an athlete, 28, former d1 college player, and my legs still hurt after a week of the tour. I have two small burns from holding the ropes. 2. The ride is UNCOMFORTABLE, very bumpy, and it seems dangerous for 3 reasons: drive is very close to the rocks, you have the feeling that if you dont hold tight you can easily fall out, no one is wearing a lifejacket. 3. To put you an example, during the ride I had to hold my sunglasses on my hands until we stopped; you dont have time to put them in the pocket or anywhere else, otherwise you fall in the water. Recommendations: 1. Only take the tour if you are between 20-40 and you are fit. 2. DO NOT BRING KIDS! 3. Ask for gloves, tie your sunglasses and dont bring hats. 4. SIT IN THE BACK, as far as back as you can. 5. Ask to wear a lifejacket. 6. Bring a waterproof bag for your phone that you can easily remove to take pictures, you only have about 10/15 seconds to take pictures during the stops. We weren’t able to take many pictures because we were afraid he would start driving. (Captain doesnt wait). 7. Do not take the tour if you are planning a relax Hawaiian vacation. Expectations: Don’t expect a nice ride on a zodiac. What you see is very cool, but the ride is VERY UNCOMFORTABLE, bumpy, rough water, etc. If they would have asked us to return to the harbor after 30 min into the tour we for sure would have said yes.

This was the worst experience I have ever had on any of the Hawaiian islands. The owner / captain was rude and insulting to other customers. SO much so that I was offended. it was a beautiful day bot the trip to and from the caves was so ruth we almost fell out of the boat several times. My hands were bleeding from hanging on the rope. You sit on the rubber boat so it is bouncing all over the place. It was awful. I told the owner I was unsatisfied and he told me he didn't care and he doe not give any refunds partial or otherwise. He knows we will never come back so why should he. When we finally got to the caves we did not get to go in even though it was beautiful day. We never got to go snorkeling. The fumes from the engine made us nauseous. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE read the other negative reviews before you consider booking a trip with this service. Don't let them ruin your vacation.

Best Tour Ever! I was born and raised in Hawaii and really enjoyed the BEAUTY of the Napali Coast from the boat! From the sea caves to the spinner dolphins, this is a must do when in Kauai. Everyone working with Napali Riders were Very Professional and Knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this tour company to my Family and Friends and be confident that they would have an Awesome Experience!

Went on the four-hour snorkeling tour on Friday, March 20, 2020. This was at the end of a very rainy week in Kaua'i and the beginning of the coronavirus restrictions. Due to the weather that week, the seas were too rough and too much 'red dirt water" for snorkeling. Despite the conditions, the weather on Friday morning was awesome!! We had a full four hour tour of the Na Pali coast (up close and personal) and were rewarded with seeing two schools of dolphins and two herds of whales. The captain went out of his way to get us close to the second herd of whales (about 10 males chasing a couple of females during mating season). The sights, photos, and memories will be unforgettable!!! It was an awesome experience!!! Just a couple of words of caution : (a) it is a rigid-hull rubber boat - so will be standing most of the time (or leaning against the boat) and holding on to ropes ; and (b) if you go during the winter months, the first three-quarters of the trip are manageable - however, coming back to the harbor will get extremely rough and you will get tossed around, and it if you are lucky enough to be near the back of the boat, you will get soaked from the spray on the way home. This is not light mist, but heavy water spray!! Overall, great experience and highly recommended!!! [Cannot comment on the snorkeling as we were not permitted to go due to the weather conditions.] p.s. buy the photo package at the end of the tour as they will get photos you cannot get with a cell phone camera.
