Our guide was awesome. New all of thw history of the Waipo Valley, because she grew up there. The views we're spectacular and the horses were wonderful. So glad we did it. Next time we'll do the whole day ride!
The ride itself through the forest and up the valley rim was already unbelieveable, but Ali and Miley, our guides made the entire trip an unforgettable experience. They are very knowledgeable and skilled, you feel comfortable even when it's your first time horseback riding, and...More

The ridge is a longer trip and has expansive views of the valley and the ocean, however, most of the ride is in a wooded area which i thought was boring. There is only one viewpoint stop to see the valley. The valley ride is shorter, but the drive down with your guide is interesting (very, very steep), and the horse ride takes you across creeks, some wooded areas, and open valleys. The folks that live down in the valley are from another time!!! Slight hedge to the valley ride.
