Our kids regarded our afternoon at Paniolo Adventures as the highlight of our recent trip to the Big Island. Two of the kids had never been on a horse before. Our guides did a very good job of keeping everybody comfortable and enjoying the ride. We had the lunch ride, and it was lovely to get to rest in the... More

If you are looking for horseback riding on the Big Island, this is the place! Our guide was Corinne (sp). She was so full of information. We took the 2 hour Paniolo ride. Horses were well trained.

We had a private ride with Lauren on 12/21/15. It was great fun. The horses were very well taken care of and matched to the riders ability. Lauren made the ride both safe and enjoyable for our family. I highly recommend this tour!!

We had a fun ride and would highly recommend. As a person that has horse experience, I can say the horses are well cared for and I appreciated the guide's approach. Plus a beautiful location.

We scheduled our ride kinda last minute, and they were able to accommodate our large family (7). Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate, so we did not get to see the sunset due to the clouds. The ride was still very fun. Corrine was a wonderful host. We rode for a good hour and a half over the hills of the... More

The best experience, from the location to the staff (Jackie ) and the awesome horses. My wife and granddaughter, who rode by herself for the first-time. We had the most memorable experience with a rainbow and the sunset. Have and will continue to recommend Paniolo Adventures to any and everyone as a must when in Hawai'i. Mahalo and Aloha Jimmy... This ranch is about an hour and a quarter from Kona, so you need a car. We took a 2 1/2 hour ride which was plenty even though we are experienced riders. This is in a wet and windy climate zone, totally different from the Kona and Kohala coast areas. We borrowed boots and dusters but were soaked through by... More

We took a private ride with Gary, the proprietor and had a really splendid experience riding across the open grasslands of a 5,000 acre working cattle ranch. Very professionally run with healthy stock and great equipment.

We went on the 2.5hr ride on Lakka and Billy. We had a great time and the whole experience was very well executed. Even if you get there a little before check-in time I would recommend so you have plenty of time to choose riding boots and jackets (included). Stunning views. We used the option to trot/canter at certain points... More
