It was not as long as I thought it would be. The lower part of the walk is scenic, but the river itself has a lot of hydrilla and is slow flowing - a little stagnant. Also, I wouldn't walk at night.

Very pretty walk beside the Savannah River. Playground area, benches & picnic tables along the River. We enjoyed walking in this area & visiting nearby downtown businesses.

My life's love and I enjoyed the stroll along the river. Peaceful, and romantic. The day we went it was a bit cool so, dress accordingly. However, he did offer his jacket as he placed it around my shoulders. Great scenery.

This is the most exquisite place in Augusta. The walkway around the river, shops and eateries are beautifully landscaped and beautiful Statues to tell the History of the Augusta National Golf Course. Wonderful day spent with Family here. Can't wait to return!

I am born and raised in augusta. Have attended many festivals and functions at the riverwalk. Its nice to visit if you like nature and the savannah river. But in my opinion, its better to visit the riverwalk when they have something going on there...More
