We had to evacuate from Charleston, SC from a possible landfall of Hurricane Florence so we went to Augusta. This is one of the few places we visited. It was a nice place to walk around, albeit a bit hot but nothing can be done...More

We evacuated from Hurricane Florence and spent the morning here. Neat spot. Fascinating use of natural filters for wastewater. A good place to spend a couple of hours for a nice walk.

Excellent place for a walk in nature. However, it has significantly changed since I was here a few years back.... 1). Boardwalks need repair, 2). scrub plants and trees have grown up to block views, 3). Poison Ivy, poison oak, briars have overgrown many areas...More

This is a great way to see bugs, butterflys and wildlife. Its best to go frist thing or last thing in the day during warmer months winter time you can still have things to see!

Spent a Saturday morning here walking 5 miles. The place is beautiful and very well maintained. We saw gators and snakes so be careful and wear your boots! Nice trails for all levels of walkers. The birds were gorgeous and everywhere. Will return.
