About
In Zizima, we want to provide families in Honduras a place that combines: culture, entertainment, and healthy fun, integrating the components of the Caribbean Coast. We count with a food court which maintains its own quality and identity adjoined to the Water Park. Also, we count with a extreme games such as wall climbing and adrenaline, a mini-zoo, and a lot of waterslides from which you could slide unto the refreshing pools of Zizima.

Escape the Heat and Give the Kids Something to Do
Sep 2018 • Family
OK, so you are in SPS and it is hot and humid and you are looking for a break. Driving to the beach is more of an adventure than you are up to for the day. So consider Zizima. If you decide to go early enough, you will be able to find a place under a palapa or a table somewhere, then set up "camp" for the day.

There are wading pools for little kids, and slides for bigger kids. A man-made "river" lets you take a float around the park. You can find a little something for everyone.

The food and beverages are all purchased inside - you can't bring anything in with you. Your bags will be searched upon entry, so just pack your towel and suit. There are changing rooms and showers (nice, clean, and private) inside so wear your street clothes to the park. You can rent a locker inside as well, but don't bring anything too valuable. This is a water park, remember! Sunscreen is a good idea, too.

I think the entry is about L200 (less than $10) a day as of this writing. Food is typical for what you find in any theme park...

Go with a group, have fun, and get away from the gritty humidity of the city!

(Pro tip: This has nothing to do with a bad experience with Zizima, but just use cash (Lempira) here - do not use your credit cards if at all possible while in Honduras.)

Great Time!
Jul 2018 • Family
This waterpark had something for everyone! There was an area for younger children with waterslides and all kinds of climbing apparatus
There was also a wave pool which my grandson really loved! There is time in between where you could also just swim and they would have a signal go off to let you know the big waves are coming !
The Waterslides were a blast! There were some that you could go down on individual tubes or you could go in one of the larger tubes and have four or five people in it !

Great way to escape the heat
May 2018 • Family
We are friends with a local Honduran family who live a fairly basic life in a village outside San Pedro Sula. We visited them for a few days in May and were sweltering at their place with no air conditioning.

We decided to look into water activities such as visiting the coast or swimming in a nearby river. Someone suggested Zizima.

None of them had ever been, it’s not something they can afford, so we decided to treat everyone to a day at the water park.

The park is small and showing a few signs of wear but it’s clean, organized and decently well maintained and there’s enough to keep everyone busy throughout the day.

The older kids enjoyed the slides, lazy river and wave pool while the younger ones played in the splash area mostly.

The park is good for all ages from 0-100. There’s even an area dedicated to babies. The park also has a number of options for sitting areas. There are poolside chairs for parents to supervise kids and there are large tables for families to have lunch.

The changing facilities, toilets and lockers are ok. The lockers cost only 20 lempira for the day. They do take a 70 HNL key deposit that you get back when you return your key.

The entrance fee is 220 HNL for adults and teenagers and 110 HNL for kids. Under 1 year is free. We took 13 people to the park and it cost approximately 2100 lempira (around 90 USD... that’s very reasonable).

There are a couple restaurants where you can buy food. We ordered fried chicken meals for lunch with fries, coleslaw and Pepsi and it cost about 800 HNL (35 USD) for everyone.

It was a very reasonably priced outing for 13 people (for us to pay) but it’s not something they can afford so it was very special.

I highly recommend a visit to Zizima to all families visiting or living in the San Pedro Sula area.

Kids had a Blast!
Apr 2017 • Family
Spent day here with kids. Small park but had enough to keep the kids busy. Some slides were closed, but kids still managed to have a good time. Kids also loved the rocking climbing wall and the climbing structure.

Fun day with the kids

We enjoyed a fun day here with our kids. There are not many lifeguards so please be sure to monitor children who are not strong swimmers.

Sep 2016 • Family
We visited zizima with the kids and really spend a good time together they have attractions for all ages even if somebody (my mother and my sister in law) can't swim still can have a good time because they have a variety of pools with different levels of deep.

Also they have different kind of slides so you can have higher emotions.
