Our private tour Guide Konrad Heinz highly recommended to get tickets to the Museum as well and believe me I thanked him for this recommendation. A visit to this Museum is the best way to end the Copan Mayan Ruins tour. Highly recommend this Museum.
Don't miss this while visiting the ruins. This will provide details that you will not find at the actual sites, and all signs are in Spanish and English. Many of the original and best preserved carvings are located in this Museum.
After visiting Copán Ruinas with a paid guide, it was nice to have extra time at my leisure to peruse the museum and learn more about the culture and details of historical research. This is definitely an enriching lens after or during the experience of...More
When you go to the Copan Ruins it is simply a must to take the combined ticket that include this museum just next to the entrance. It has a unique design as you go through the tunnel and you come out facing the amazing red...More

Copan Sculpture Museum was built over a weak foundation. You can notice cracks near the beautiful entrance tunnel. The Rosa Lila Pyramid replica is amazing. But due to the same problem: weak foundation, it shows cracks, too. Ticket price seemed too expensive for me.
