What an amazing site! You just can't imagine how this was built without machinery - it was a really interesting place to visit.

The hieroglyphic stairway is one of the most impressive aspects of the ruins. It is now undercover so it is slightly harder to see but hopefully it will be better protected.

you can't miss it during the visit of the Copán archealogic park. One of the stones is missing but it is the Mayan building that has more history in their hieroglyphics than any other structure from that time

amazing place. Sad to see it in less good shape than our first trip 25 years ago. It is covered which helps but many of the stones have lost the really bright contrast between the carvings and the stone itself.

This stairway is located within the Copan ruins park. It's an impressive structure and definitely worth checking out.

The only thing I did not like was the yellow plastic covering the staircase making taking pictures difficult and the fact that you could not approach it because of a railing in front of it, apart from that a beautiful piece of art

It was pretty cool to see the stairs and how the statues were incorporated into the stairs. It's too bad that the government gave some of them away.

This stairway is part of the overall Copan ruins complex. A must visit while in Copan, very historic and worth the price of admission. A guide is good so you can get detailed explanations. We also added on the tunnels tour. A little pricey but...More
