Incredible. Unquestionably like nothing you've experienced before. Relaxed for only 20 minutes instead of the recommended full hour (because I had some cuts on my skin and the extreme saltiness of the water made it uncomfortable; I heard you must use Vaseline in this case but I must have missed the owners mention it), but it was great. I left... More

im from israel so im familiar with floating on water (we have the "dead sea" here) but i have to say that the experience was much more special having no sound and complete darkness (took it to a whole new level). i enjoyed it a lot and i recommend it to whoever is planing to visit Utila. I had never heard of "floating" until I met Amanda, owner of Float Utila. What she described seemed intriguing to say the least so I was happy to check it out. When I arrived, Amanda explained the facilities, shower and tank, and explained the process and what I would be experiencing. I'll admit I was a little nervous about closing... More

I traveled to Utila for a family vacation and found this place on our first day while exploring the island. We were all intrigued so we read up on the literature our property manager left at our rental. Before making reservations we decided to visit for a tour of the place. We were warmly greeted by the couple who owns... More

I made myself a promise that I would go to Float Utila while on holiday from Ontario, Canada. I have been curious about Floating. The owners spend time sharing information while making you feel quite at ease. This Family are kind and gentle souls... I took advantage of the 3 Float Package that is offered and I am extremely glad... More

This is a MUST!!! After a few days of the hustle and bustle of traveling and getting used to the island, this experience completely grounded us and brought us to "island time". Amanda and John welcome you into their home as if you have been lifelong friends. Their home is stunning and the float room is incredible! My husband and... More

Doing a float here was one of the coolest things I've ever experienced. From seeing their AMAZING home, to the huge tank itself. I had a strange sensation that I was being tilted forward and upright while floating. The sound of my joints cracking in the oily water was really cool. My mind wondered and I was totally relaxed. The... More

Like many others who didn't know what to expect, I was amazed. The Float experience is like nothing you have ever done before. It takes a few minutes to calm down to nothingness and then it seems like I drifted off into a trance a segue to sleep and before you know it, time is up indicated by some soft... More

This is a real relaxing experience. I did float in Holland a couple of times, but this was so much better. The tub is so big you can twist around. I forgot where I was for a long time. The shower was amazing. The couple that runs this place is so lovely and helpfull. Definately a good place to relax... More

Wow! What an experience. It´s amazing how much we try and use stimulation to enjoy ourselves or give ourselves clarity, when in fact once your senses are deprived you can see so much more clearly and have a great, trippy experience doing it. Most definitely give it a go, well worth the money!
