Im not ashamed to say I normally dive with Roatan Divers, and they have been great to me, but decided to give EcoDivers a try this time as we were staying nearby and they came highly recommend by a friend. Im very glad we gave them a go. It was a very welcome change getting away from the larger dive shops and diving with a very chill group of instructors in very small groups! I cant remember the last time we had 2 instructors for 2 divers on the boat!! Great prices too. I cant recommend this shop enough. Keep in mind that most instructors here are just starting out and are hence volunteering their services, tip accordingly!

Highly recommended! As their website affirms, these are "Divers Who Care" about the fragile reef ecosystem. They offer a FREE DIVE to those who participate in one of their organized beach cleanups ("pay with plastic") and DISCOUNTED DIVES for reef restoration and monitoring. In addition, their regular prices are incredibly reasonable — starting as low as $25 per single-tank boat dive (as of Jan 2020) when you book 20 dives. Their instructors, divemasters, and staff are fantastic. I did 10 dives with 4 different dive leaders and every one of them was excellent. My partner needed a refresher and his instructor and the other dive leaders were very patient and helpful as he worked to get back up to speed. Ecodivers is located right on Half Moon Bay at Half Moon Resort, a bit off the main drag but easy walking distance from anywhere in West End. They offer 3-5 boat dives per day, departing and returning to the Half Moon Resort dock. I will definitely be returning to Roatan and diving with Ecodivers — and next time I’ll stay longer!

This place was recommended by our dive shop in Toronto and it was a pleasure to do their introductory scuba course. All the staff are friendly. We particularly appreciated the patience of our instructor, Julie, from France. She showed us the basics in a very pleasant and clear manner. The whole place is very safety oriented and they do not push people beyond the right amount of activity for the weather. We met people who return year after year to Ecodivers, which speaks well for them.

I went to Roatan to complete my Open Water PADI certification and I could not be more satisfied my the place and the staff. Crystal Alexander was my instructor and really gave me her passion for diving and the ocean. I definitely want to go back.

My girl friend and I instantly bounded with the great people that make up this dive shop. I have been fortunate enough to have dove all over the world and this is absolutely one of my favorites. The dives are great but the people make the experience. The dive package is a great deal and worth the short walk. Cannot not say enough good things about our experience and cannot wait to go back to see our friends at EcoDivers. Would highly recommend West End Wall and Dallas for advanced divers.
