Captain Matt is who you are looking for. He came from Seattle and is living the dream. The snorkeling was beautiful. Charlie and crew are courteous, Friendly and fun. Charlie makes some FIVE-STAR concoctions, even if you are a teetotaler. The boat is super comfortable with plenty of space to relax. And the food… Sharna has been cooking on the boat for 17 years, and she has mastered her craft. Salsa, meatballs, yeasted rolls from scratch, and pineapple muffins… oh my. If you have any dietary restrictions, she can accommodate. And if you like dogs, Silvia the pug will make your day.

The boat was super spacious, and the front of the boat was extremely comfortable. Very smooth sailing throughout the trip. They stopped at three snorkel destination spots, all the reefs were very nice. Captain Matt, Chris and Liam were all super accommodating too all your needs.
Chris even claimed that he made the best Pina Coladas in the world, and if someone disagreed, he would change his name to Phil. Needless to say, he kept his name as Chris.
The food was amazing, we had pineapple coleslaw, rice with beans, and these kebabs that were delicious.
They even stopped at a small Tarpon sanctuary, which also had a few sea turtles. It was super cool.
Amazing staff! Everyone is super friendly and talkative. Highly recommend

This catamaran trip was absolutely amazing, I would recommend it to anyone! The staff were all very friendly and very accommodating! During this trip, you will arrive at several beautiful areas and the staff will lead you through your snorkel and show you multiple things. You are also free to snorkel at your own pace if you do not want to follow the guide! Nevertheless, if you are looking for a catamaran/snorkeling trip with beautiful views, wonderful staff, amazing food, and amazing drinks, this is the trip you want to book!!!

Our private group of 15 still keeps talking about this trip we took last week! There were some heavy waves that day and they were navigated well and no one got sick! The snorkeling was wonderful but the food and lunch were outstanding! The food was truly made with love and so yummy!
If cruising, I recommend getting off the ship the moment you can to maximize your adventure!
Thank you to Captain Matt, Chris, the wonderful chef, and the rest of the team, and of course Sylvia 🐾!

Such a fun day! The experience was top notch from beginning to end. Captain Matt, Chena, and Chris are really amazing. Chena’s food was the best we had during our entire 7 day trip, and Chris’s bartending skills are killer. Even virgin, the piña colada was amazing! My friends who had the boozy ones (and a rum punch) said they were excellent as well. The snorkeling spots were so cool and Chris was a great guide. We went on a cloudy day, and despite the clouds and a bit of rain, the excursion was fabulous. Highly recommend!

We couldn’t have been happier with our catamaran excursion! The entire crew from Captain Matt, Alex, Chris and Chena were so friendly and welcoming. The snorkeling was amazing and the food was delicious. We had a party of 11 including teens and kids and we all had an incredible time - if you have a chance to visit Roatan you must book with them.

Amazing trip, amazing staff/crew, wonderful food and customer service off the charts. We arrived and the weather was a big concern, Captain Matt and crew, carefully eased the ship through a mine field of large waves to a protected cove. We snorkeled under the careful watch of the guides saw fish, lobsters and all sorts of beautiful coral and plant life. It was fun and the crew made the trip much better. They shared so many things about the area, its was really a GREAT Trip!

For the second time, We joined Captain Matt and his team (Feb 2023) for snorkeling and beautiful blue waters. He has a beautiful catamaran that can easily hold 12-15 but it was just 6 of us. We were picked up at the cruise port and driven to the other side of the island.
We learned about history, the area and had amazing food and beverage. We were served muffins and breakfast beers. 😀to start. Then freshly made pina coladas after snorkeling. Lunch was a 6 course meal including grilled kebabs and carrot cake. Highly recommend them for ease of booking, trip experience and great crew.

Had an amazing day snorkeling on the catamaran with the crew from Radical Adventures. Cpt Matt was great and communicated with me with ease before we got there. We had a group of 20 with us ranging from 3 years old to grandparents. Everyone had a blast! I knew they said they were going to feed us but I really wasn’t expecting half of what we were given! From the muffins right when we got there, to the snacks in between snorkels, then the pizza bites, THEN the entrees (of delicious grilled chicken, rice and beans, cole slaw, plantains and homemade rolls) and then to finish with desserts…it was truly a great experience. I believe the woman cooking all the amazing food was named Chena and the guy serving us all our Pina Colada’s was Christopher - they truly made the trip extra special. The water was really rough due to some wind during our whole trip to Roatan so we were a little nervous about snorkeling but Cpt Matt and the crew took us to 3 amazingly secluded, calm and beautiful snorkeling spots!! Trust this crew, they know what they’re doing and they will make your trip one you’ll never forget!

I’ve sent a couple emails regarding availability for a tour, but no responses. Should I just go to the pay page and reserve?

Hi, do you have availability on 10/11/18 for a private excursion. We’re a group of 4 wanting to spend a day on the water and beach, snorkel and have it all as private as possible. If available, what is the cost?

At this time we are available on Oct 11th. Are you arriving to the island on a cruise ship or are you staying on the island? It would be easier to answer your questions if you use the Contact Us link on our website or send us an e-mail.

I am sorry, but we no longer promise Pigeon Cays as a destination.
We are a fast catamaran, but still pretty slow compared to any power boat. It takes us a couple of hours each way to get there.
The best way to get to Pigeon cays is for you to check the weather yourself.
Windfinder website is the most accurate for this area.
Pick a day with wind less than 10 knots.
Then find a service that provides a fast power boat to get you out there and back. There are lots of people with small boats going out there these days.
OK! Hope that helps! Any other questions about our day trips to Port Royal, or about Roatan in general, just ask!

We will have two little ones just shy of two years old. Is this something they would enjoy?
Written October 19, 2017
Is there a minimum age limit for this activity? I am traveling with a 3 year old.
Written January 8, 2016
There is not a minimum age. It makes it more fun if the child can swim so they can go snorkeling with everyone else.
Written August 27, 2017
How may does the boat accommodate ? we are 2 families of 5 ,
Written December 12, 2015
Our catamaran is large – 48’ long by 27’ wide. We can have 35 or more on board with nobody feeling crowded. However, we only do groups this large is it is, say, a family reunion, group of friends or a wedding. It is not our policy to load on a bunch of people just to make more money. (More fun for us, and for the guests too!). Our usual group size is 8-18.

How hard is it to get out of the water into the boat. Is there a platform, or just a ladder? Bad back, can't climb up a ladder anymore (sucks getting old).
Written January 23, 2015
There is a strong and stable swim ladder to help you re-board the boat from the water. It is very similar in size and shape to a ladder coming out of a swimming pool deep end.

We would like to book a snorkeling trip in Roatan on January 21st with Ed and Julie. Do you have availability? What are your prices? It's my husband and myself. We are in our 50's and have snorkeled before.
