This dive shop is less than a 5 minute boat ride to the famous "Mary's Place" dive location. They have a couple boats, good dive masters and a good selection at their shop. We came from our hotel on the other side of the island just for the Mary's Place dive and it was well worth the half hour drive!... More

We dove 11 tanks in 4 days with Barefoot Divers and highly recommend them. The concierge aspect was great...everything (tanks and BCDs with integrated weights, fins and boots, masks) was on the boat ready to go, and all we had to do was make the short walk and barge ride from our room at Barefoot Cay and get on the... We purchased a property in Brick Bay last year: https://www.tripadvisor.com/VacationRentalReview-g292019-d8794203-Quaint_Ocean_Front_and_Water_Front_Bungalow-Roatan_Bay_Islands.html And have used Barefoot Divers each time we've been back visiting (total of about 7 weeks). We've found them to be very professional and full service with respect to your equipment ... no problems either if you'd prefer to take care of your own gear. We highly recommend them and... More

I went diving with Barefoot Divers during the last week of May. We started out on the South side of Roatan, which turned out to be very wavy and a couple of us were getting sea sick. Barefoot divers changed up all their plans so we could be shuttled to the West End of Roatan, where they met us with... More

We stayed at Barefoot Cay for a week and went diving daily with Barefoot Divers. They take care of everything for you. They put your equipment on and off the boat, change over tanks, and rinse and hand you gear at the end of the day. We dove with no more than 6 divers plus three crew - the boat... More

We dove 15x with Barefoot Divers over the course of 10 days and each one was amazing. They are well organized and if you let them they will do everything for you. Every dive was fantastic, the colors of coral and fish spectacular!! Even when the visibility wasn't the greatest, the dive master and captain would take us to the... More

This dive shop is top top flight. I've been diving for years in lots of places. I took my brother on a cruise for his 60th birthday and i wanted to dive. Barefoot took my bro guided snorkeling while i dove. it was absolutely gorgeous; safety awesome; beautiful stuff. IMPT: cruise ship changed our arrival and departure times. I freaked... More

I had an absolutely outspend experience with Barefoot Diver while staying at Barefoot Cay. Everyone was very professional but laid back and easy to get along with. They have great facilities and all the staff I interacted with were top notch. I took to opportunity to do my Wreck and Deep specialties during my stay. My instructor was Christian. He... More

We stayed at Barefoot Cay resort and did our diving with Barefoot Divers, which is absolutely the best dive shop we have ever had the pleasure of diving with. They are truly a first class operation. Upon arriving at the resort we were sized for all of our gear and it was stowed in lockers with our name on it.... More

As an advanced open water nitrox diver having dived all over the world, I feel compelled to report that the Barefoot Cay resort is a scary place to dive. Why? Because they are more concerned with their feelings of their clients than with safety. Here is my story. I was diving the 2nd morning dive with my spouse, 12 other... More

We are sorry that you had a negative experience with our dive shop. Safety is always our first concern with our divers, and we are deeply concerned that this was not the image that was portrayed to you. After the incident with this guest was reported to the resort, we spoke with several of the other divers on board, as... More
