We had our guide from Rony's tour take us here to do the extremely extreme zip line (9 lines). The cost was $65/person. This was our first stop of the day and we were the only ones here when we arrived. We felt very safe with a guide going before and after us. Braking wasn't an issue as the lines end fairly gradual and the guides helped make sure you came it safe. The views were pretty although I'm not sure if I'd qualify this as extremely, extreme as the zip line I did in St. Kits was way more extreme than this.

Thanks Jody549 Thanks for your nice comment and you enjoyed our Pirates Zip Line and felt safe, and the guides made sure that you were safe. We are the longest and highest on the Island of Roatan Pirates is the most extreme on the Island, but thanks a million for your comment.

We had a great time! Jay and Juan Carlos were awesome guides. I've done ziplines in several countries and several states in the US and have to say, this one was top notch! My friend that was with me had never done one before and enjoyed it, as well. I highly recommend!!!

We did the Zip and Dip. It was a great time. We did have a small group that day which made it even better. We had someone who was a bit afraid of heights and they did really well on the ziplining. The beach was great and didn't have anyone there. A good restaurant with Lionfish sandwiches and a small trinkets shop. A great day off the cruise ship!

We did the Extreme zip lines and a horseback ride. Due to airline hassles, we had to reschedule our time twice, which they did without a problem, advising us on the best times to attend to avoid large crowds from the cruise ships. We took our 21 year old daughter who had a blast. Crew was great, very friendly and encouraging. Will bring friends next time we go!

We brought 25 people with us this time because this company is the BEST ziplining spot on Roatan! Amazing service, great prices, safety first and they went above and beyond with a surprise wedding cake and decorations for us. Now that is service! Thank you for such a fun day. We will definitely be back!

This was such an awesome experience for the whole family. The guides were friendly and it was a great way to spend part of the day on the 9 ziplines there. Our 8 year old daughter even went!

Era una experiencia padrisimo para toda la familia. Los guias eran amables y era excelente manera de pasar parte del dia en las 9 tirolinas. Hasta nuestra hijita de 8 años lo hizo!

One of the best zipline experiences we've encountered! We did the Extremely Extreme zipline and boy was it worth it. It felt like we were jumping from treehouse to treehouse, which was in itself a cool feeling. Our guides were all FANTASTIC and made the experience that much better. Would definitely recommend Pirates Zipline when visiting Roatan!!

We didn't do the canopy tour. We did the extremely extreme zipline today booked through Daniel Johnson's with the sloths. We had a fabulous day. They drive you to the beginning of the zipline and it ends where you checked in. You don't have to walk far for this one. We plan to bring the kids next time.

These guys will help you get the most out of your vacation. Everyone is so understanding of time constraints. My whole family was quickly taken care of and given a view of Roatan that was breath taking and full of adrenaline! I felt safe not just with the equipment but as a tourist. Thanks for such an amazing time!

We are a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children: 12 and 5. This was our 3rd zipline experience, the first in Mexico and the second in Costa Rica. This was atrocious whereas the others were excellent. For starters, there are 2 "courses" the regular and "extreme". Although he had gone before on two occasions, we were planning to do the regular but upon check-in were told that the "extreme" was the only option due to short-staffing, this was an omen. On the prior occasions, we were broken into a small group and assigned dedicated guides, not here. This place just had one person at each station. This person had to accept an incoming zipliner and send another one out, which makes for a very slow process. What was supposed to be a 45 outing, turned into over 2 hours, mostly just waiting around. The staff was clearly overworked, as you could see and hear their aggravation with the non-stop flow of patrons scheduled by the front office. After we registered, were taken by SUV to the starting. While he was driving, the driver, maybe the owner, was more interested in his cell phone conversation than getting us over the bumpy, off-road safely. One seat had a back which did not even work and the guy almost backed into us once we got our kids out of the back of the truck. The worst was yet to come: on one of the ziplines, my wife was senT down the line before my 5 year old son and I had cleared the line. I could hear someone coming by the humming on the line and before I knew it my wife collided with us. I was stuck on the line because my son and I had been sent out with our lines twisted. I even told the guy but he said it would not be a problem. Luckily, my wife is only 100 pounds but she hit us at 10-15 mph, I also luckily was able to pull my son out of the way at the last minute and I was able to absorb the impact of the hit instead of him. This is a cardinal sin in ziplining: like sending 2 planes onto the same runway at an airport. The was just gross stupidity and ignorance on the part of the person who sent my wife down the line. My knuckles are still sore from the hit as my hand got smashed between our helmets. To make matters worse, my neck started hurting that night and progressed to the point that (12/30) last week I ended up in semi-urgent surgery to fix and ruptured disc in my neck. The guy who came to disentangle us and get us off the line was very upset with the guy who sent my wife early. He was telling his colleagues about what happened but they just kept telling him to be quiet. I expressed my displeasure with the ''manager" once we were finally able to get to the bottom: all he said was"ok", I will talk to the guy; no apology, no first aid for my bleeding knuckles, just "ok".

This place is downright dangerous. There are 3 other ziplines on the island. Protect yourselves and your friends/family and do not risk your safety at the awful establishment. It was obvious that the only thing of import were the dollars you brought to this adventure, your safety and enjoyment were not a priority.
