The phone numbers on the website don't work. The one on Google maps does work. Wrote an inquiry email, but give him a day or two to respond as he has closed down the office in Panajachel and does not have staff currently. The bikes are not sufficient for client use. One bike did not go down to the first gear in the front (so you only had the hardest gears) and the brakes required an intimidating amount of squeezing to work. The other bike wouldn't go up to the hardest gears in the back and the chain kept skipping when trying to go down to lower gears. They are hard tails and fairly old. We took an easy tour from Tzununa to San Pedro (itinerary 1) but ended up in San Juan because the road to San Pedro was reportedly closed. The website says the tour should include transportation and lunch, however he wanted us to meet him in Tzununa and then did not pay for our return across the lake. There was no lunch and in fact, we paid for his coffee when we stopped at a coffee farm for a tour. The whole tour ended up being only about 2 hours and then he tried to fill the time with visiting a coffee farm and going to a lookout. Biking was not technical, was just going along a dirt and then paved road for itinerary 1. In my opinion, it was not worth the money and the cost should be cheaper if he is not offering transportation and lunch as described. However, Roger seemed very nice and is local, growing up around Lake Atitlan.

I had a wonderful experience with Roger! First of all, he was very helpful: due to the itinerary, I had to delay a bit the trip that I’d programed with them on biking for making space on the schedule for paragliding. Roger was not only attentive, but also gave me great advices on paragliding. Second, the biking experience was fantastic. He and his friend took good care of me and we biked all the way to San Antonio, beautiful scenery, great view and since it was quite personalized, we did it at my rhythm. It was very patient of him also accompanying in a Mirador too see all the sunset. Third, he also helped on other issues!!! To summarize up, I recommend Roger 100%!

We booked with Roger based on the recommendation of Jody and Hollie S. The five adults who did the tour were impressed with his knowledge of the area and the three villages they toured. Everyone was pleased with their purchases from the weaving co-op and coffee tasting. Visiting the Maximon shrine was interesting and new to them. They suggested using Roger for other tours in Guatemala. You can get to these places using public transportation, but you lose a lot not having a good local guide.

Our tour guide Juan did an excellent job with our group of 22, adults and teenagers. He was very knowledgeable about the culture and the history. We had a nice mix of shopping and site seeing.

We took a tour with Roger around the atilan. Trip was poorly organised. Walking route was not through the nature, but all 1 day on the road, cars passing by, and eating the dust. They did not take enough water to the volcano sleeping, so we were dehidrated. Sleeping bags also thin, and it was very cold while sleeping. He and his carrier was eating cookies before the dinner on the volcano and even did not bother to offer hungry tourist. Roger is not proper person for guiding, he does not give even basic information.
