These beautiful gardens contain many local plants and flowers as well as some exotic specimens. It is the only botanical garden in Guatemala and was the first of its kind in Central America.

Lovely space to pull away from city life. The signage was deficient and the collection of native Guatemalan plants was weak.

Nice, quiet place in busy part of the city. Museum is rather poorly equipped but the garden is pretty. Many trees, flowers, flying birds and butterflies. Cool exposition with different kinds of cactus plants.
