I just got back to Denver after two weeks on Tom Owen's Caye and I have to say that it was the best vacation of my life. The staff far exceeded my expectations from Polly to the chef to the dive instructors. ReefCI puts a lot of effort into engaging their guests in the conservation effort through reef life education... I spent a week in this little island with reefCI diving, enjoying nature and seeing how this people work with environment and helping the sea in many areas. I could even do some conservation job in the coral reef. And of course I dived a lot and I got my Open Water license. Amazing experience with amazing team of people... More

One of the best diving holidays so far! I spent two weeks on Tom Owen's Caye and wish I have had more time. The staff was always helpful and the food was fantastic (yes, I do love rice and beans!). I learned so much about fish ID, invertebrates, and substrates, which will make future diving adventures even more enjoyable. Tracey,... More

I had a great three weeks with ReefCI. I had no diving experience prior to my trip and the staff were incredibly knowledgeable and patient during my open water and advanced open water courses. Simon, the diving instructor, even spent some time with me one-on-one to help me become more comfortable taking my mask off under water and he really... More

I had the best experience with ReefCI! The staff were incredible -- from the moment I booked, Polly and Jo were there to help find hotels, flights to Punta Gorda, and anything else I needed. The instructors were wonderful as well, and were able to deal with hiccups (weather, boat issues) smoothly so it didn't impact our experience. They also... More

The dive experience was wonderful. The dive guide and instructor were safe, knowledgable and informative. The food was fresh and delicious. My only disappointment was the accommodation. It would be useful if more information was given about what to bring to the little island as you can expect little creature comfort.

ReefCI is an absolutely amazing organization! I would recommend this trip to anyone and everyone! From the incredible staff, to the beautiful dive location, it is impossible not to fall in love with Tom Owens island. Diving 3 times a day and returning to rest in a hammock is the best way to spend a vacation. And don't forget the... More

1. Reservation process and pre-departure communication was excellent. Jo and Polly were so friendly and all questions were answered quickly. 2. Accommodations- teeny tiny island with structures made of coral and underwater murals! One main structure and a bunch of individual Flintstone pods surrounded by hammocks. All charming and funky. Basic boat/RV style bathrooms. 3. Meals- delicious and plentiful! Fresh... More

I went to ReefCI without any diving experience, and to get my certification. My mom and I met some of the most unique people while on the trip, and the most personal and helpful staff I have ever encountered! I got to see multiple eagle rays, fish, and nurse sharks while learning to dive off the dock at Tom Owen's... More
