It was so awesome to see all of the wonderful paintings Walter is doing. With the pandemic he has several great painting with the people wearing masks and empty streets. It was a joy and inspiration to listen to him talk about his paintings. He lives his work. Can't wait to return! So happy to own one of his paintings.

Walter's paintings were showing at a beachfront gallery in Placencia when I visited there two years ago. Walter's artwork is magical and makes me think of beautiful Belize. I never forgave myself for not purchasing a painting or print at the time. Consequently, I contacted the Castillo Home Art Gallery online. Mito Castillo couldn't have been more helpful in walking me through the overseas transaction and managing the delivery of Walter's latest painting, "Islanders". I am so delighted! It gives my husband and me great pleasure every time we view the color, movement, spirit, and life that Walter depicts so masterfully and joyfully. Thank you Mito and Walter Castillo!

Wonderful paintings and prints on display in Walter's workshop. Slightly out of the way location; you're clearly leaving the area where tourists usually go but it's just a few minutes from San Ignacio. Very welcoming place that we're certainly glad that we visited.

Beautiful paintings! Walter's spirited attention to detail never disappoints. We recently visited the gracious hosts Mito and Walter at Creek Art -Walter Castillo Home Gallery to see his recent work and to add to our own Creek Art collection. We look forward to hanging another special piece from The Jewel in our home!

Saw Walter's prints in various shops around San Ignacio and was interested in originals. The couple places I looked said the sold out quickly when they got something. One of the shop owners said they saw Mito and Walter in town, so we walked around trying to find them without success. The next day Sunday we were in teakettle, and noticed that Google maps said the gallery was open at 9. We decided to back-track and take a chance they would be open. I think we surprised Mito, but she gratiously invited us into the studio. She showed us prints - kids bought 5 or 6 - and went thru a bunch of examples of Walter's work so I could give an idea of the subject I was interested in for the original piece. Not sure if the Google hours are official, but we are very happy we dropped by. Did not get to meet Walter, but many thanks to Mito and awaiting arrival of my painting.
