Tony was the best tour guide we could have ever hoped for on our Xunan and Cave Tubing tour! He was incredibly knowledgeable, so kind and made sure we had the absolute best experience. Of all of my international tour guides, Tony was the best, so if you want the best excursion, book with Go Maya and ask for Tony, he will make your trip as memorable as he did ours.

Cave tubing with Eddie was a wonderful experience! He is so knowledgeable, fun, and friendly. We always felt safe and enjoyed learning about Mayans, flora, fauna, and caves.

Basilio was fun, funny, and so knowledgeable! I can't recommend this tour highly enough. Requires a reasonable level of fitness and sense of adventure, but I never felt unsafe. I would do it again, for sure, and I rarely want to repeat things.

This is a very unique experience. We booked our tour through Elmer at the Rumors resort and our tour guide Basilio Mes was awesome. He was funny and gave us so much information about Belize when we headed towards the cave. You could ask for a life jacket because there will be a short swim. The roundtrip was about four miles long and you needed to climb to the top. You will get wet. Near the top, you will have to remove your shoes and so your socks may get ruined after walking on the mud for a while. You will see "dead people"up there as they were discovered inside the cave. I strongly recommend you to wear a good pair of water shoes. You should have a good breakfast too. You won't have lunch until you were done with all the walking and climbing.

We did the tour with Go-Maya we left from Rumors resort. The trip was awesome. Basilio was our tour guide who was very informative about the Mayan culture. We learned a lot and had a great time going through the caves. You can't take pictures but he did give us some photos to share with family. I would recommend anyone going to Belize to check it out unless you are scared of some tight spaces. As far as shoes bring a water shoe with good grip on it for the rocks. We read that Keen was a good brand but it was more than I wanted to spend. We got ours off of amazon a company called Dream, mine were from Camel Crown and my sons were Atika. All worked well for under 40 bucks.
